I have a bunch of respect for the people who work behind the scenes in nascar

I have the same but also for any job. If ya ever seen undercover boss sometimes the bosses don’t even realize the basic things that people have to do in the company.

One of the many overworked, Underpaid, and not respected by 99% of the fans. Driver makes millions and just turns left/right, smashes cars, and does not tip the true workers.

I find it interesting while watching all these videos the semi truck ones get a lot more attention then any other kind of video. It seems there is more questions about them as well vs. anything else

The thing about the JGR haulers you don't see on TV is: they're always spotless, like a magazine cover. You could shave in the shine of the tires.

You gotta know somebody that knows somebody that knows somebody to get into the group if truck drivers for nascar teams!! Dream job for sure

Lots of understated funny statements from this guy. I like it. "You look for the wireless remote as much as you use it." " . . . because you get to interact with the people and see who likes your team and who don't . . . and they let you know." "The driving part of being the truck driver is probably the best part." For those like me who probably would have thought that driving was just about all they did or were responsible for, that statement is pretty neat.

Hauler drivers make it happen in NASCAR. I like these guys more than the racers. If it wasn't for the hauler drivers the race would never happen. Shout out to #MotorRacingNGravy < Best hauler channel on KZbin.

Always wanted to be a truck driver for NASCAR growing. Watch it all my life and still do with my grandma. She’s a die hard and loves it just as much if not more than I do. But man I dream of driving for them but know it will never happen lol. Love those trucks

Always been my dream to haul a Nascar. I will say us regular CDL drivers are 100% under paid. No respect for us either. Now its mostly foreign drivers now. 32% American born drivers are left now.

Question: Are there 2 drivers for every nascar truck how do you legally log that with eld or do you have exemptions
@jacksonwhittier3646Ай бұрын
They probably only drive 2 to 4 days, however long it takes to get to the next race then sit for a day, long enough to do a 34

That’s my question. Mandatory his days ends and he’s “off the clock” at 7:30pm. Curious how they get around the DOT with this.
@henryhelen097 ай бұрын
@the_bencredible maybe because it's so close they don't need to log?
@jacksonwhittier3646Ай бұрын
Trucker here, he's got an elog, they're mandatory since 2017, that's probably what that tablet above his head in the beginning of the video is, there is no getting around the ELDs, I'm guessing these guys do only a few days of actual driving on the DOT log while also doing a lot of other duties where they can be logged off duty so they're constantly taking a 34 hour reset. This type of schedule would pretty much allow them to work perpetually.

All the duties that the driver has is ridiculous. And from what I have read , you're the lowest paid. I would never make it just on the part I do not like to cook.
