Good job, Dave and crew! The pipe rail gives away the general area that you're in.

Looks like the mines we used to go through, just north of Bonnie Clare (?) about 12 miles into the hills. I have an old Edison porcelain lead acid battery they used to power a light over a wheel over a shaft. Patent date around 1887. Enjoyed this video looking forward to watching some more. Really brings back memories? Blew up a lot of dynamite. We were college kids in the early 70s. Bullet proof and just starting on our 9 lives. Lucky to be alive.

Bet people came and metal detected it and dug it out to dry wash the remnants. Crazy long tunnel!!! Those hard rock tunnels are wild!

Longest tunnel in Death Valley is over 2600 feet. Straight and true.

Which one is that? this one had to be close to that.

@@ExploringCabinsandMines What was the name of this well known DV mine again?

@@ExploringCabinsandMines Oh, I thought you were in Death Valley. That's still all privately held in the Argus Range. So then the Lewis Tunnel is the clear winner of the longest Death Valley tunnel. :)

@@doug6885 I meant to pace it off when I was there but forgot, but re-watcing the vid this one had to be 2000 feet , I walked in a straight line for 10 minutes some of it in fast forward. No this mine isn't in the Park Proper but I still consider it DV, any good tips would be appreciated for other explores. Thanks for viewing!

@@ExploringCabinsandMines I have hundreds of pins in the map of places to explore and that I've been to. I don't really have a You Tube channel - except one cool video I hired Pin In The Atlas to edit - but I do collab with Social Media types who aren't Hussy's once in awhile. Mainly it's me solo or with one of my kids or grandkids. Main focus is CA and NV, but I do get around to other states. We will have to find a way to discuss further privately. Take care.
