@ Taa mechionu. Abakaleke is a village. Ask yourself why most ebonyi people prefer to live in Awka and Onitsha. How many estates do you have in abakaleke compare to Awka? How many malls do you have compare to Awka? Aside everyday supermarket, there’s no other big shop in abakaleke, meanwhile Awka has so many mall, many estates, etc. Awka millennium city is the best place in Igboland. You think city building is just about one useless flyover that’s painted rainbow colour. Tell yourself the bitter truth and stop arguing nonsense.

I call this a forced 'development' coming from top (the rich) to bottom which is the (common man). Is it sustainable? Well we will wait and see. I hope these beautiful infrastructures will not turn to dilapidated structures in a few years time.

Public education is good but is not limited to establishment of schools only. Public education also comes through movies ( nollywood), religious institutions, news, public notices placed at strategic locations ( markets, post offices, bus stops and terminal, public transportation etc) and finally via uncompromising law enforcement to hold people accountable for public safety. All these can go together as infrastructures grow. One does not have to sway for the other. You will be surprised that in the Western and European countries, law enforcement plays a huge part in public education and safety. If you get a fine or go to jail for loitering or running a red light or desecration of an important infrastructure, you will learn quickly that you also have a role to play in public health, public safety and preservation of infrastructures.

Nigerian politicians and the GULLIBLE population.🤦♀️

@@judembam9419 Enugu is definitely more developed than Ebonyi when it comes to infrastructure, architecture, and urban planning. It has a long history as a major city in southeastern Nigeria, serving as the administrative capital of the Eastern Region and later old Anambra State. This gave it a head start in building solid infrastructure, good roads, modern malls, hotels, and other public facilities. Ebonyi, on the other hand, is a much younger state, created in 1996, so it’s still catching up. That said, the progress in Abakaliki, especially in recent years, has been impressive.
