Back in the 80's I had a Yamaha YSR50 that was street legal, this bike sounds just like it. The YSR's I see for sale on Ebay are bringing pretty high prices.

I had a black Yamaha ysr50 BITD. Wish i never sold it! They're coming out of the wood work now but i was really trying to find one or two when my kids were younger.

the steet legal version has just a speedo there. It only reads upto 60km normally because the stock nsr50 is limited to 30kmh to make it legal to ride without a bike licence in japan. The mod is to add and NSR80 speedo thats the same size but goes upto 120. The street legal ones also run a kick start and oil injection.

I got 100+ hours out of the engine at the track before replacing the piston and cylinder. Terrific bike. It is a tiny bike. More cramped than ohvale or Kayo GP type chassis. Airtech sells bodiwork but they make it when you order so plan to wait a month. I love the bike is mechanically so simple. No battery, so no maintenance.

2004 was this bike the NSR50R and in 2006 even more rare was the Honda NSF100 mini race bike. Both are super cool

Love 2 stroke mini bikes. They sound like you are doing 120 when your maxing out around 45 or 50.

You don’t downshift these like 4 strokes. Don’t downshift them to slow down. It starves them of oil

I love my nsr50. I have an 87 model fully steet legal. 63cc big bore kit and big carb ect. They defently arnt made for kids tho. There are afew videos on my channel

You can make the bike GP shift buy buying a CBR600F left rearset off ebay (if you can find one). I am talking about a 1st gen CBR600 BTW.

Wish they'd sell the 250cc 4 cylinder sport bikes like they did in Japan back in the day (or the 25R they do now). Also Monkey is 1.3g, just filled up mine with 1.15g this week.

omg 2004 ver still has the 1983 engine, just dont see the kickstart. Universal engine after all, honda used them on cross, race, street bikes, everywhere, i have an 80cc, same engine 6 speed, enduro bike with a totally homemade pipe, 21 phbg carb and everything else stock on the engine. it burns the offroad tyres on the road!

Man I could only imagine that thing with a 4 stroke Daytona 212cc 4v 28hp engine in it would be insanely fast and would be a drop in engine would definitely need slicks on it. It Almost looks like it was made out of two different models of bikes in to one. Very nice 👍👌✌️💯🥂
