Canberra is massively underrated. It is basically a big uni campus, but it has incredible facilities, nature, and the food is really good too. It's always interesting to see foreigners say - why does everyone hate this place? lol

Yeah the food was great! And it was so easy to get around. The people also seem to be more relaxed and not so much ‘in a rush’ when compared to Sydney and Melbourne.

Because it's full of politicians and 'public servants'.

I really like Canberra. Cops a lot of flak but food is great, plenty to see and you feel like you're only a step away from nature.

Totally agree, it’s got the reputation as being boring but I thought there was plenty to do. And as you say the city feels more closely attached to nature compared to Sydney, and definitely compared to Melbourne.
