@@seren3797 if you go frame by frame you can see that he shoots right where the ct was before he walked behind the wall but it counts as a hit bc of ping/subtick, that's where the ct was on his screen but bc this is rens pov it looks like he missed

It's either instant feedback with a risk of getting fake feedback or delayed feedback (like before)... I prefer the instant option tho, the instant feeling is just too satisfying and when I occasionally get the fake dink, I just brush it off as my own fault for missing the spray or something

I feel like the skill gap is bigger again. My pistols works like they did in CSGO, its insane how much better USP and Deagle are now. I've played 9 matches of Train, some of them against 2-4 2000-2600 elo enemies and just ran over them. So nice to see that it was always the game and not me getting bad

The game at 10:38 shows you got at least 2 body shots and a headshot, but when the enemy died, it showed you only hit him once for 22 damage - that even got you to call "last guy 1hp" at 10:51.

T spawn is timed at the same as csgo (in my opinion), the only difference is: CT can't see A main from connector anymore, because the train is blocking the path. So CT have to move to e-box to see something... that's why CT have bad timing everytime. POPDOG is way to long, to go B. Instead of a ladder, it's a long ramp. which is bad for both teams lol

Honestly I can't see the need for prediction. They really don't have to validate on the server's end that the crosshair was on the enemy, as it doesn't do much against cheating anyway. Imo they should just trust the client and remove the need for a full round trip to the server and back. It is very obviously bad for the experience. programmer btw Edit: They also likely don't understand server validation as well as they should if they are going to literally cancel damaging an enemy if they are wrong. If done properly, the server should never be wrong about what really happened unless there is genuine client modification, which would also remove the need for a full round trip entirely while providing all of the benefit of server validation.
