Nice one Mark. I've been havering about getting a Zwift Ride to replace the Echelon Ex3 I have (that has no gear-shift). I think you've just made up my mind.

Haha, I was the 3rd in that little group, 'Who'd probably never heard of you, and ignored it all!'....I ended up being beat by 2 seconds...although at least I didn't collapse on floor at the end, so who's the real winner here?!

Great to see you back in Watopia! By the way, the Ghost power up is disabled at 400m, good tactic though! Also, you and I got on Zwift around the same time (you were probably on a few months before). I was searching on KZbin for Zwift tips and landed on one of your videos. While I've never fell to the floor it was great to see someone suffering the way I was...I've been a sub ever since!

I would absolutely love to see you put a mountain bike/running trail around your property. Zwift bikes and other type of trainers are great (and believe me I am jealous of yours!), but getting outside is a totally different level. Can't wait to see you get back into more exercise variants. Love it!
@ForceMassMotion-b6v8 күн бұрын
Bang per buck on time / value, there is nothing better that doing a targeted hour of training on an indoor trainer. There is no comparison to going outside, they are different sports. But if you have little time / live in Greenland, Zwift is a treat and the best way to get fit, fast...

Hey Mark, I recently started Swifting (I'm also completely new to cycling). I have been very inspired by your videos. My setup is a BikeErg + an iPad Pro which I am loving. Bike looks really Nice, but still seems a bit wobbly. I got a Keiser and that is not whobbly at all. Biggest complaint for me is that you need a monthly subscription and nowadays there are so many options to choose from (rowing, biking, Jumping, lessMills and so many others). I like it if you don’t need a power socket to make everything work, so this one wouldn’t be for me. But I understand it completely that you love it!

Zwift has moved over to racing score. It takes your finish position into consideration for the score along with some power data figures. You will be given a score now, which is today 218. You are effectively a cat D rider level currently. Don't worry your score will jump quickly as the fitness returns. There are less sandbaggers with RS and if one or two do sneak in they are almost immediately promoted into the next level

I love my zwift bike it's unbelievable it makes such a pleasure to get on a bike on the trainer
@MrMattie7259 күн бұрын
Interesting, I use virtual shifting and never noticed a delay or something like that. In fact, due to not grinding gears I feel more comfortable shifting under load. I have trainer difficulty at around 50% though, which makes the jump between virtual gears bigger. Also, I (60kg) followed this channel quite early on and would have never expected to deliver more sprint wattage than you some day :D

What do you think of the 170mm crank length? I almost bought that set up, but I've been running 175's on everything but my bigger travel bike, and I can't stand the shorter length on that one. I'm 6'5" and had considered going up to 177.5's and even 180's when I raced road. Glad to see you making this style of video again :)
