I hope you guys take the nature and wildlife that was incumbent on the land prior to your move. Can imagine nesting birds in those old buildings.

People are always gonna judge you using drugs to take a shortcut for anything. I know someone who has successful with this and I thought about it. I'm in the US and it has to be prescribed so my problem would be that I'm probably about 20 pounds overweight they probably would not prescribe it for me. They would tell me that I am not obese. I am chubby and this is for people who need to lose weight or they're gonna have severe medical issues from that my need to lose weight is purely aesthetics

Mark - you've got the backbones, definitely look at ventilation and insulation. As it's an old barn keep an eye on dampness especially through the floor after heavy rain.

Hi mark, fantastic property, my wife and I have renovated six derelict old farmhouses in France in 14 years. Like most people on here have said, lime mortar for the pointing, lime wash to brighten up any exposed walls. if you're going to install plasterboard walls in front of the stonework, leave minimum 2 inch gap with breather vents top and bottom, regularly spaced along the plasterboard wall so any moisture isn't trapped behind the plasterboard when the walls breathe.

if you need to level out the floor anyhow consider floor heating and a solar boiler to have it heated rather cheap. Probably not going to be that warm inside in wintertimes due to the walls. But looks lik an exiting project for sure. Hope you get to finish it before retiring ;-)

Dunno if you drink alcohol...but did u find it reduced your desire to drink if you do? I have heard some reports it can reduce craving for grog. Interested to hear your experience on this. Hope u have moved house now.

If you're lucky, that grow room might have been wired around the power meter... and might mean you don't need to pay for power.... I once rented a house where we didn't pay any power for over a year...

Recommended getting a tree survey before breaking ground near those trees 🌳 better still have some sort of no dig close to the ground tree house on piles or something 🙏 I'm unsubscribing if I see you damaging tree rooting environment 😉😅

Ok, the new property begs a new KZbin series: "Lewis' farm". First episode could be getting goats to clear up the brambles. Having said that you won't need the gym room, you will be fit just by looking after the property!

Look at getting a dehumidifier in there to supplement any ventilation. Saves every thing getting damp and rusty 👍

One thing that I would advise is to have extremely good security for the old barn - a lot of very portable, very high value items are going to be in there, and the UK police have effectively decriminalised bike theft.

Not sure what it is, Mark, but you look like you've aged a lot in this video. Is it stress? Medication? Definitely something. Can anyone else see it?

The Pro 2 limited the vibration amount (the bone condition part). I’ve read many disappointing comments from owners. Please do your own research before purchasing, as it might not fit your needs.

I am glad that the pass mark for more intense jobs are a lot higher. In the Army you will need 5.4 to qualify as Student Nurse. Most jobs are between 6.7 and 7.7 like Signals, Royal Mechanical Electrical Engineers , Logistics etc. the harder ones are Combat roles like Armour or Infantry which is an 8.7 and then there are the PARA Troopers that have to hit 11.3.

A new Gym? You have just bought a 10 acre gym! Trust me if you remediate just a tenth of what you have shown us the only thing you will need is a restoration centre.... You have no idea how absolutely knackered you will feel at the end of the day... You will discover muscles you never knew you had! The guys who helped me had a favourite saying. Gym muscles are for show and last for 15 minutes. Real muscles are for GO and last all day...! Check back in six months and tell me I'm wrong... Good luck cause by the end you will never have been fitter or stronger when you get that first tenth done and then there's the other 9/10ths to go plus the maintenance of the first 1/10th.... Welcome to the countryside.... its going to be a real eye opener and discovery and we your loyal watchers are going to enjoy watching every bit of the awakening! Good luck...

Living the dream of thousands across the globe haha. The new place looks great! With the running water nearby, you have to get some kind of cold plunge going. Yes, I hate the cold water too, but my man, you feel amazing after. Especially if you've done a hard workout before the plunge. Keep us updated, love the content.

Hi Mark. Get yourself some lime mortar to point up inside. Recommend you look at using natural insulation products & moisture wicking finishes as more compatible with the building’s historic construction. Nicer to use & better for planet too. Love the channel. Good luck with the conversion work. Peter (expert in old buildings)
