KASHMIR _INDIA welcome to Srinagar,the capital of Kashmir state,the furthest point of Northern India.
Traveling from New Delhi by train,you have to stop at Jammu City and then proceed by bus Srinagar,it's one of the most craziest journeys to take and also abit risky.
The roads are still under construction and many dangerous U_turns and Conners on top of the mountains.
The journey will close to 9hrs from Jammu City but you pass through udaipur city.

Srinagar is only the beginning of kashmir. Pahalgam, amarnath, gulmarg, sonmarg, betaab valley, yus valley, sinthan top, shankara acharya temple, aru valley, doodhpatri, dachigam. You will experience the bliss. Better take a royal enfield classic or himalayan bike rental and cover all these and then ride to leh via kargil and cover ladakh region. Most african vloggers come to cities and leave.

The name of the union territory is Jammu & Kashmir and people casually call the whole of it as kashmir. The valley is kashmir region and himalayan foothills and plains is jammu region and jammu is also the city name. Srinagar is summer capital and jammu city is winter capital of this union territory. Winter is coming starting october second half. Srinagar is small city only 1.7 million population. Jammu is even smaller less than a million population.
