I love little realism things like this. Another one that's easy to miss is if you go to Back Alley Bowling with 5000 Pre-War Money, you can actually pay to play a game. (Of course everything is busted, but if you have a junk jet or that ball launcher from Far Harbor you can kinda roleplay that you're bowling.)

If you go to the G.A Factory, you can find the ID for the supervisor, skipping the speech check.

Strange quest. I think the only reason to do this is to have a few extra merchants. They don't have very much, but if you have the perks and bobblehead, you can get some extra bottlecaps. Only useful at the beginning of the game. Bottlecaps are useless later on.

Not this unmarked quest. The actual ID card really exists in the game and it's at the General Atomics Factory. They actually made the skeleton of the guy (and ID card) who was supposed to be Supervisor. The speech check is the alternative route.
