Fantastic episode as usual, so happy to have you guys back. Duggo on fire. Patrol set ups avoid the Toyota tax. So many other affordable 4wd for touring, I assume they may have been too expensive or just not rated. IE Ranger, Hilux, Navara, Defender, Discovery, Hino truck or Mahindra. In regards to high KM diesel's have just been run in at 500k or Petrol they may have been rebuilt or just had no issues or well looked after. Ronny after some sliders

Ronny has his licence codes mixed up. C class GVM up to 4500kgs. LR up to 8000kgs. MR over 8000 kgs with two axles. You can drive a RAM 3500 on an LR Licence. The new Ranger Super Duty is 4500kg GVM so you use it on a C class. I don't know where he is getting MR from. Someone from the channel needs to read the comments. Incorrect information is being distributed.

Saw a Ranger super duty test vehicle in the Macedon Ranges, VIC last weekend; it looked to be sitting 2-4 inches higher than a standard Ranger, and the rear tray was 12-14 inches away from the rear of the double cab, indicating the vehicle is on a stretched wheelbase, given the tray was from a standard Ranger.

Guys I don't how to put this nicely but here it is. In the 4wd podcast you generally start off with a lot jibber jabber. There is very little 4wd talk and most of it that you talk you have very little info on it. Guys before you come on the podcast atleast do some research on the cars or stuff you are going to talk about. Check out MKBHD's waveform podcast for inspiration

S10 Manual finished in 2022 followed by the S11 auto only with add blue (crap should be banned, Liquid Urea and Diesel should never be mixed and burnt its nasty shit) both with 80Lt tanks. Longevity is way above most just look at Hunter Valley Express 2 at near 1 mill k's 3 at about 750k none over 4 years old, best ute on the market value for money walks all over everything else.

5 minutes of wrong information from Ronny about licenses. Can certainly drive a 4500kg GVM Vehicle on a car license as it states 4500kg or less . Next step up is LR license Light Rigid. 4500kg to 8000kg. Towing capacity has nothing to do with license either
