The best is Play it again Sports, a chain around Canada. While they don't just sell Hockey Equipment, it is the best place to buy it. I've never bought new Skates (Except for Short Track skates) because my mother would buy me skates from there at the beginning of the season, then just return them at the end since my feet were still growing

You should go to Rocket Ice Arena in Bolingbrook Ill, It is rated the #1 arena in Illinois and it has two rinks, a concestion stand, a shop, a couple arcade things, a shooting range, a balcony to watch on rink two and glass walls on the rink one side to watch on rink one, on rink one there is a jumbotron on rink one, and the arena is sponsored by the Chicago Blackhawks and the AHL's Chicago Wolves. Love to see that

This place called "Play it again Sports" at oceanside, NY You basically just buy secondhand hockey equipment, as well as sell your own old stuff. The skate sharpening"s cheap and I got all of my equipment for under $400 while still being pretty good

There's an old ice rink in Jackson michigan I used to play at. Known to be the coldest rink around and you had to walk up and down stairs to get to the rink kind of like our Yost locker room
