This turned into an incredible haul for you! You may have gone higher than you wanted to on the original locker, but man has it paid off in the long run! I really think your kindness, and willingness to haul off his garbage for him, your willingness to just drop what you’re doing and go over when he calls, and all the other kindnesses you’ve shown this family throughout the original purchase, plus this one has resulted in his kindness back to you. And honestly, I think he sees your pure childlike enjoyment of his collection - not just for the resale value - but for the intrinsic value of the items themselves - spoke to the seller on a level that told him that you would appreciate and take care of his collection. You wouldn’t just flip it to get rid of it. I hope he watches these videos to see your true joy and appreciation of the items he has entrusted to you!

Just to share one of my rules when reselling games that are sealed if the graded value is over 1k take a chance and get it graded. My best example is a pokemon yellow sealed I found at a flea market bought it for 10 bucks paid to have it graded sold it for 2950. Just a tip for everyone. If it graded value is below 500 i usually don't have it graded. Also you have to take in account for your initial investment to help your ROI!

Dr Who TARDIS is a time-space travel machine that was meant to blend in with it's surroundings. But in very first episode it departed London disguised as a 1950s police telephone box for the planet Skara, where Dr Who encounted the Darleks (those nobbly 'robot' figures you found). But the TARDIS malfunctioned and has been unable to camouflage since. Back in the 1950s, when the BBC did all its own production financed by a TV licence fee, this scenario was a simple economy measure l guess. But this image of the TARDIS has become iconic!

6:00 Those old Cinefex albums can be worth something. They have a lot of info on special effects that can be hard to track down anywhere else. For a certain section of movie geeks, they're gold.

I don't know if you know this but USPS has special shipping prices for books and media. Its way cheaper than normal shipping. Its called Media Mail.

The only default with Media Mail, in my experience, is that you have to take the stuff to the post office and stand in line for them to process, you can't do it online or at the kiosks. IDK if that changes when you're shipping more items, I'm still small potatoes with eBay but while it does save a TON of money in shipping there is that drawback...

@@domado2011 I got a set of hardback books that I sold on ebay. They were heavy it was going to cost well over $100 to ship UPS and I got it for like $27 using media mail. This was some time ago so pricing is probably different now but it was well worth it.

There was an Ebay reseller in UK who picked up a never released game (internal only cartridge) for one of the old systems, can't remember now which system, it was a few years ago. He got about £6k for it (roughly $7,000). There is some big money in some of the old systems games to collectors, especially in mint, unopened condition.
