SHINee is a 5 members OG boy group. 3:47 The one in Blond singing the Rap part with Low tone is Minho. He is the main rapper of the group but he sings too. The second rapper is called Key he is the one wearing the hat, he sings, dances great too, The guy who open the song with the “Uwao” is Taemin he is the youngest and the main dancer you guessed it right he is inspired by Michael Jackson. But he add his own flair to make his move his style. The main vocal you like the voice so much is Jonghyun and another one Onew (he is the leader) both of them has more power and do a lot of the Adlibs at the background as well as the other 3 members sometimes. All their voices blend so well together with the sprinkle of Jonghyun’s & Onew’s adlibs. SHINee music really something not to be listened just once you might need many times to catch all the tricks and harmonies, adlibs, riffs, etc. thank you for appreciating our boy SHINee always 5.

Shinee are known as the Princes of Kpop and have been around for a long time. They are universally respected by the younger stars and many of today's idols have covered their songs. They can do just about anything. Their most recent hits are Don't Call Me and Atlantis. They also have solo careers. Shinee Taemin is known as the MJ of Korea. His most recent song is called Advice. Shinee Key has a current hit called Bad Love. They always try new things but they have a very distinct sound. They are all amazing.

The one you fell in love with is Jonghyun, one of the absolute best vocalists in the industry. That high note at the end is done by both Jonghyun and Onew (also an EPIC vocalist) and the falsetto high note that follows that adlib is done by Onew. SHINee has 5 members, but if I remember correctly, Onew had some injury that prevented him from dancing in the mv. The one who opened the song was Taemin, and he is actually coined as the Korean Michael Jackson by many. He is a revered dancer in the industry and was greatly influenced by MJ.

Here are some fun facts about SHINee's "1 of 1" MV: "1 of 1" came out in 2016 and it is the title track on SHINee's 5th full length Korean album. SHINee debuted on May 25, 2008, (5/25). In this MV there were 25 girls. So, 5 members + 25 girls = 5/25. All the girls in this MV are models, so if you notice, they don't really dance, and most of the girls are taller than the SHINee members LOL -- but that's OK because it fits the theme of the MV well. In the '90s often the girls that were featured in the MVs were well known models and actresses, not backup dancers. The MV was supposed to have that slightly awkward, unpolished look and feel to it because it was part of the retro aesthetic. The quality of the video was on point with exactly how MVs were made in the '90s. Everything in this MV was done very deliberately to make it look and feel like it came straight out of the '90s. I can't remember which it was, but either the time stamp on the MV or the time stamp on the song is exactly 5:25 as well. As you can see, this MV and the whole album is meant to have a very retro '90s vibe. As someone who was a teenager in the '90s, I can attest to the fact that this is so perfect. Everything, from the look of the set with the all white background to the clothes everyone wore, to their dance moves, to the video editing and the sound of the song, was all '90s. They even released some of their albums on cassette tape as part of a limited collector's edition to further celebrate the '90s theme. SHINee (pronounced Shiny -- as in shiny diamonds or shiny stars -- their name has a double ee to show just how brilliant they shine) are just doing what we have all come to expect from them -- starting a new trend. With every new song release, SHINee are expected to come out with a style and sound that is brand new, not only for them, but in the industry as a whole. And that is exactly what they did by being one of the first to take on a retro concept with this song and album. What you just experienced is exactly what makes SHINee legends. And this is the reason why they are so highly respected, and why almost everyone in the industry who came after them cites them as one of their biggest influences and one of the reasons why they wanted to become a singer and dancer, etc. SHINee are one of the most iconic and influential groups. They are always setting trends, never following them. SHINee where designed to be SM Entertainment's experimental boy group, so everything they do is meant to be the first and they are expected to set the trend. With every new song SHINee produces it's expected to be different than the last, so you will never hear the same style or sound from them in any of their songs, even on the same album, and yet, somehow it will always sound like SHINee. SHINee are part of the second generation of Kpop and, yet, they are younger than most everyone in their generation and are the same age or even younger than many members of groups who came after them, such as EXO and BTS, etc. which are part of Kpop's third generation. When SHINee debuted in 2008, Onew (the leader and lead vocalist) was 18, Jonghyun (the main vocalist and songwriter) had just turned 18, Minho (the main rapper and sub-vocalist) and Key (lead vocalist and sub-rapper) were 16 and Taemin (Main dancer and lead vocalist) was 14, so now they are all in their late 20s and early 30s. He even holds the record (40+ seconds) for the longest continuous note without changing tone or pitch, etc. Jonghyun -- the one in blue -- is known as one of the best vocalist in Kpop who was one of the most prolific songwriters and composers of his generation. Jonghyun wrote and composed almost 40% of SHINee's songs, plus he wrote all of his own solo songs and numerous songs for other artists. He was one of the only SM artists to be given complete artistic control over his work, including several of SHINee's song selections. SM knew that if Jonghyun was involved in any way that the song would be a hit. He was extremely respected within the industry as a songwriter, composer and singer. He was one of the very first Idols to be known for his songwriting and composing skills, and he was the first of SM's artists to have a fully self-wrote album. As the main vocalist, Jonghyun is the one you hear with all the amazing high notes and R&B runs and ad libs most of the time. Key -- the one with the brown suit -- is our fashionista of the group who is SHINee's stylist for a lot of their MVs and stage outfits. He was the one that chose the group's outfits in "1 of 1." SHINee are known for setting trends and never being afraid to experiment, so Key is known for really paying attention to detail when it comes to fashion. He is an amazing singer and is a sub-rapper in the group. He is also known as SHINee's dance copy machine. Key has the ability to see and remember choreography the fastest in the group. He only needs to watch the dance once and he has it memorized. He is also SHINee's fluent English speaker, and he is almost as good as a native speaker. Minho -- the one in black -- is the main rapper and visual of the group, but his vocals are also some of the best in the industry. Minho sings just as much as he raps. He also writes most of his own raps in SHINee's songs. Minho is one of the top actors in the industry and he has starred in numerous dramas and movies. Minho is also known as a top athlete. He says these days he goes to the gym a couple of times a day to work out just because he likes to work out, but he is also crazy about soccer, and he plays basketball, baseball and golf, and he is good at track and field events, etc., as well. And not only does he enjoy playing all those sports, but he is usually the best athlete on the field and he pretty much wins every time. There is a reason why Minho's nickname is "Flaming Charisma," and one reason is for his intense passion for sports and his need to always win. And, Taemin -- the one in yellow -- is considered one of THE BEST dancers in the industry, and that's not just by fans but by everyone in the industry, including his peers. Taemin's nickname is the Korean Michael Jackson. He is also one of the most popular solo artists in the industry and he is a member of the Kpop supergroup SuperM. Taemin truly is art when it comes to his performances. SHINee are one of the top groups that are known for the fact that they all can do it all. They are a group of 5 amazing vocalists, 5 impressive dancers, 5 visuals, 5 rappers, 5 top actors, and 5 of the most talented and unique voices in all of Kpop. Hello! Thanks for your reaction, I loved it! There are 5 members in SHINee and they are inspired by MJ in a lot of their songs. At 1:25, that's Taemin who is the youngest and probably the most heavily inspired by MJ especially in his own solo work. At 1:46, that's Key who also does a lot of styling for the members. At 1:55, that's the leader Onew (pronounced "oh-new") and he's also the eldest of the group. At 2:12, the one that you extra loved the singing voice of, is the late Jonghyun. He was truly an amazing performer, singer, writer, composer, producer, dancer, etc. And last but not least, at 3:30, we have Minho, he's well known for his visuals. This song has a late 80's 90's R&B feel, Bobby Brown, Bell Biv Devoe. I love it. They even got the look of that era in the MV. Producer of Shinee, 'Yoo Young Jin' used to be an R&B singer, back in '90s. He performed with Boyz II men when they came to Korea. He also teaches singing for the SM artists. So that is why many SM artists' vocal has R&B feel to them. This is perfection! New Sub from Seoul, Korea!

Five of the best vocalists in K-pop in one group - that's Shinee, and yes, every member does everything - sing, dance, rap, visuals, songwriting, (I could go on and on.... ) There are plenty of intro videos out there if you would like to get to know more about these legends. But for now, here they are in order of appearance in the MV: Taemin - black and red argyle sweater, Michael Jackson vibe (and yes, he's a huge MIchael Jackson fan) Key - glasses and white bucket hat, blue blazer. He just released a mini album called Bad Love - highly recommended to check it out! Onew - red leather jacket. He was injured at the time of MV filming so he's mostly sitting down. One of the most distinct and beautiful voices in the entire music industry. He sang a cover of Nessum Dorma - yes *that* Nessum Dorma Jonghyun - denim jacket, blue and red suit. Your favourite! And yes, he's the one hitting those impeccable high notes. He has written over 100 songs both for Shinee and for other Kpop artists. Minho - blonde hair, rapper and vocalist and also one of the main songwriters in the group. He's also a Kdrama actor. Their live performances are even MUCH better, but to start off, I'd highly recommend the following songs - *Juliette - this song broke the glass ceiling for Kpop Idol songwriters. Without Juliette, you would barely have any idols being allowed to write their own songs. *Prism *Sherlock *Everybody - no other Kpop group has dared cover this song in its original form and choreography *Odd Eye *View *Lucifer *Ring Ding Dong - careful with this one. It will stick in your head like hot glue *Married to the Music - perfect for a rather trippy Halloween! *Good Evening *Code - from their latest album, Don't Call Me

This reaction was so much fun! I just love how much you enjoyed the song! Totally subbed for more! No one does it like SHINee, honestly! They are called princes of KPop and they are kings of live vocals and performances. They are on a whole other level live. The voice you liked the most belongs to Jonghyun and he is the best vocalist in kpop. The guy who did the Michael Jackson move in the beginning is Taemin and he is THE best dancer in kpop. His role model is actually Michael and you can tell. Taemin is self taught and learned dncing through watching videos. The other three members are Minho, Key and Onew! SHINee has been in the game for almost 14 years now. They debuted in 2008 with the song replay. They were only between 14 and 18 years old at the time with Taemin being the youngest. Since then they always had a steady career. They all also have successful solo careers with Minho being more active in the acting field and also being really successful. Since they have been active for so long they have a vast variety of music and they also tried different styles over the years! I would recommend "Married to the Music" next since you enjoyed "1of1" so much! I would also recommend to react to the performance video along with the MV since the dancing is really great. I want to mention too that while SHINee will ALWAYS be a 5 member group, sadly they continue as 4 since 2018 because their member Jonghyun passed away at the end of 2017. Just in case anyone recommends their newer songs and you are wondering. Sorry for the long rant I just really love them. They had a really successful run in 2021 too so if you want to check out this years stuff it's SHINee "Don't call me" and "Atlantis" as well as two of the members had solo combacks as in Taemin "Advice" and Key with "Bad Love"! The one with the voice~ I suggest any song by any of them, honestly they're all great, and some of the best songs don't have MVs. The one that did the Micheal thing was Taemin who was inspire by him growing up... The one you love is Jonghyun who unfortunately is no longer with us... 😭 The blonde is Minho who is one of the rappers of the group... The one sitting with amazing vocals as well is Onew the leader of the group... He didn't dance because of an injury... And finally Key who is the other rapper as well as an amazing singer, actor, and the genius behind the fashions of SHINee... I would suggest these songs next... Subscribing for more SHINee... yes you need to check them out more. They are trendsetters and are known for their live vocals. A 2nd gen group debuting in 2008, they are considered idol of idols. Each member has solo careers as well. the fact that you said MJ when taemin showed up!! taemin is extremely respected as a dancer in the industry and takes lotss of influence from MJ in his solo stuff and in his dance style. Would def recommend you check out "move" and "criminal" by taemin along with shinee's group music!
