The apostle Paul as he penned his second epistle to the young evangelist, Timothy, urged him "to give diligence ["study" KJV] to present thyself approved unto God a workman that needeth not to be ashamed handling aright the word of truth" (2 Timothy 2:15). Surely, it behooves every Christian today as well to "handle aright" the word of truth, the Bible. Much of the religious confusion and doctrinal diversity in Christendom today is due to a failure of many religious teachers to obey this injunction given by apostle Paul.
