I've taught box-fit classes, at a previous boxing gym that closed due to financial difficulty during the pandemic. New Classes arrive early for a 10 min basic boxing fundamentals, position, stances, basic punch instructions. Warm up 2 min active stretch, 6 minute jump rope, 2 rounds of basic forward, backward, lateral movement, 4 rounds of shadow box with gloves, 4 rounds on heavy bag with 4 basic punches(1,1,2, 1= jab, jab, right cross, jab), end with a 6 min strength conditioning intervals (1 min intervals x4 with 30sec rest in between)..All box fit rounds are 2 minutes ..takes 40 minutes. Correcting the boxing stance and punch technique throughout the session. People aren't just coming in throwing wild, sloppy punches wit incorrect posture, etc. Injuries occur when these punches are thrown incorrectly. Also the classes will involve different bags after a a couple weeks, heavy bag, double end, mitt work, so the classes don't get old. People mistaken the performance of box-fit classes as competitive amateur boxers at times.

@@suryapasupuleti60 beginners are not allowed to spar; some gyms have special classes for sparring, definitely not part of a beginners class.

I went in today and got my butt kicked from the intense work out and I am at a decent shape But it was so fun and afterwards I felt so relaxed with that feeling when you do a big accomplishment It’s a stress reliever for sure Besides you learn some good basic punches and you get in more physical condition which helps with your confidence in general I did boxing for some time a while ago, now I remember how good it feels when you do it
