A problem is that the build quality isn't as good in Mexico as the labor is cheaper down there
@OnlyMeee-ie3dw6 ай бұрын
They put in what the manufacture gives them. It's still a cost cutting quality issue because Toyota reps are still there and approving the parts and assembly. The engine and car in my 2020 Camry was made in Kentucky, Toyota left it to the customers to find the tens of thousands bad engines. The appearance of my new Camry was great, the mechanical and electrical parts were garbage.

In 2020 when I bought my new Camry at the end of the year there were still a lot 2020 Camry's on the lots. I thought I hit the jackpot because I couldn't find Toyota end of year deals before in the previous years. I didn't do any research because I still trusted Toyota products back then. My 2020 Camry was the worst new car I ever had. It was plagued with problems and when I brought up the lemon law Toyota said all the problems weren't problems because it was how the car works. Broken is normal with the new US Toyota products. When I started researching all the problems with my car I found it was one of the most complained about cars since 2018 and was dropping in customer satisfaction ratings. I spoke to a dealer mechanic, he told me there were a lot of complaints but it seldom left anyone stranded. He also said he was keeping his old Lexus and not buying anything new until the problems were worked out. Kia even passed up Toyota in the ratings with its engines blowing up. Probably because Kia was fixing their junk, unlike Toyota just making excuses for their junk. My 2020 Camry ended a 30+ year trust in Toyota and I doubt I'll buy another after learning how Toyota treats their lemons. I could have saved thousands by buying the Fusion I looked at on the way to buy my Camry. My niece bought that Fusion I looked at the next day. It's still running just fine. Toyota's problems started in 2018 with the Camry and their product quality is dropping fast. Wake up Toyota.

Dealer rip off for something that was probably put in during assembly. I had the $75 dealer charge for nitrogen in the tires removed from my 2020 Camry. The dealer tried to hide that charge, it was by accident when I found the slip in the glove compartment.

Toyota is lying about the source of the problem it’s not debris it’s just a weak engine design. Why is it always on the crank ? Debris moves through the engine… so they are now making the Tacoma in Mexico for 2 bucks an hour then they charge more for it

Yeah I believe this, I do t think debris can damage 100 thousands car in same place inside the engine, that should move

Tacoma has been built in Mexico for several years and has nothing to do with Mexican builds. Tundra is built exclusively in Texas and has nothing to do with Texas builds... It's the supplier and manufacturer of the parts, and engineering....

If these product issues don't get them, the other nefarious business activities and debt will....I'm a Toyota fanboy but things are starting to stink. When I search my local dealers....Tacos aren't plentiful but Tundras are. So...we have to look at total quantity sold....look at their quarterly...they will tell you if they are selling or not....Toyota could've bumped up supply too.
