Lets face it - you cannot see anything in 7 days stay in Croatia. You are missing Blue Cave, Plitvice Lakes, Šibenik Old Town, Zadar, Pula, Rovinj, Trogir, Zagreb, Slavonia region... And in terms of food you are missing out on so many delicacies, like black risotto, brudet, sarma, čobanac, zagorski štrukli and so many more tasty stuff... Also, Croatia is popular by its wines, which you didn't even tried yet! You definitely should come back and try at least something from the lost above. Then you can actually tell you've seen and experienced Croatia.

Hey, We want to go to Croatia but, we don’t have a driver license. Is this a issue you think? Also, any nice places? We love the sea. Thanks!

@@maikkeulen Croatia is covered with public transportation, we have buses, trains, uber, taxies etc. But you need to realise that is not on a high level, buses are not so comfy, but that actually is not a big deal.in general-yeah,you can travel freely in heere, withoug proper driving license.but you have to be extra careful when using taxies,no law restrict their prices so before jumping in ask what is the price, they tent to robb people, especially tourists. about recommendations-you cannot go wrong with your choice.entire coast is beautiful.it depends what you like-peace and quiet place, more tourist attractive place, historic places etc. if you want peace and quiet place then look for smaller places like,i dont know:Baška Voda,Vodice,Opatija,Primošten etc... if you like more attractiv places then i can suggest you islands, like Hvar,Brač,Vis,Korčula...you cannot go wrong with islands.but besides islands, there are other places you can go like Makarska,Rovinj,Trogir etc...and of course,if you like most popular and historic places, you have Dubrovnik,Split,Pula,Šibenik,Zadar...my advice is look for a smaller places, destinations like Dubrovnik and Split are beautiful, but they can be so crowded, and it will cost you more.small places are charming, less costly and you can enjoy in sea and sun.

@@maikkeulen You cannot rent a car without a drivers license no matter where you go. Any foreign drivers license is OK in Croatia or anywhere else.

You are right, every beach in Croatia is public. There is no legal way to own one. But there are few towns on the coast where you must pay to use some beaches and profit is collected by the city

I have spent several months in Croatia and that is expensive. Dubrovnik is very expensive, even at the beginning of the season. May and September used to be called "shoulder" months, but there seems to be a push to extend the tourist season as much as possible. Last October Split was packed with cruise ship crowds, unfortunately. If you return, check out Zadar, Zagreb and the Istrian area. I love Croatia and I am glad you had an enjoyable time!

I am glad that you had a great time and that you enjoyed Croatia, great review, high-quality recordings. Perhaps you should have visited the Plitvice Lakes National Nature Park, definitely one of the most beautiful, if not the most beautiful, nature park in Europe. Thank you, many greetings and may God bless you and may your pregnancy go well and give you a healthy child and enjoy parenthood.

@@senyor_artemis anywhere outside major tourist traps SHOULD be much more affordable. Example, we were in Sibenik old town center month ago and pizza was about 15-18 euros, while same pizza in coastal village of Srima 15 mins drive from Sibenik, was 7-9 euros.

The "sobe" culture is great. Gives you the option of getting good deals without pre-booking and just looking for the signs and you don't have to pre-book. Lovely country and you can largely thank the Germans for the ease of good tourism in the country. They kept the tourism going during ethnological conflicts.

You probably know much, much better. It hasn't been horribly long since I last visited Croatia. Then again anything pre-Covid was years ago and heavily hit the tourism. Stayed in a randomly found cool hotels twice. Otherwise knock-on-door sobe and one from a classic lady at the bus station. Was way after finding accomm from the Internet was possible. Complete different nowadays of course.
