There are binary links on the GitHub where you can download a Windows version. No password syncing, unless you use a third-party password manager extension like I do.

Certainly a strong option once Manifest v3 rolls out. AFAIK their plan is still to omit that, unless the codebase becomes unmanageably different from Chrome. Even that worst-case would take many months to shake out, and if things are really bad then it'll give time for Firefox to kick into high gear and see serious development again.

i tried this just for the hell of it. installed it did these settings and chrome extensions wouldn't work. dark mode didn't work. got a cws extension failed on the chrome store. and couldn't find anything about it. i think they disabled that feature or something im gonna stick to librewolf just cause it works.

Extensions should be able to work, I would try out CRX extractor which works out well for getting extensions on Chromium. I just installed adblock a couple days ago after realizing I didn't have it, been using this browser for a while now and having no issues.

The android version has been archived and no longer available 😢. I know there is Bromite but the ad blocking isn't that good and missing cosmetic filtering. Kiwi would be the next option but not as speedy as the other two.

Yeah I do prefer Chromium to Firefox because Firefox has always been noticeably slower and more buggy than Chromium browsers. I may give Librewolf a chance in the future though.

@@EricMurphyxyz sorry if I bother you with another notification, but after using ungoogled-chromium just a little bit I can tell that it's better than libre wolf, maybe it hasn't that nice looking compared to firefox but the difference in speed and the lack of bugs is noticeably big. You don't need to try LW, or at least not by now. Cheers :)

If you are an SSD user who wants to save the cells resource, make a shortcut of Chromium exe file, and add those properties --disk-cache-size=1 --media-cache-size=1. This shortcut's object field should look like that: "C:\ungoogled-chromium\chrome.exe" --disk-cache-size=1 --media-cache-size=1
