Chester is gorgeous, isnt it? Glad you stopped at Llanfairfechan; my parents had their honeymoon there in the 50s. There's a stunning waterfall nearby which we recorded for a future video which you might enjoy. N&Nx

Yes I think it’s now our second favourite City in the UK after Edinburgh. Although Cardiff is great too so it’s a close call. Aww lovely place for a Honeymoon 😍

Great video as always. I avoided the M6 toll recently as I found it was only going to save me 4 minutes. Always set my satnav to avoid tolls. We did a 2 week tour in france ast year thoroghly reccomend it. We only used one campsite, a municiple one, cost us 16 euro including all facilities and electric hook up! Found some lovely park-ups!.

Lovely video and thanks for the shout out but so sorry for recommending Hickories 😂 if we'd known you were planning on a budget we would have suggested somewhere a bit more value for money 😬 At least you managed to slow the spending later in the week - loved the Welsh bar that looked like a conservatory! I love Llandudno but didn’t realise you can stop over at the cafe. Do you have to prebook? Love the waterfalls you visited. I’ve just totted up our stay in Wales this week. £156 site fees for 7 nights, £150 food inc top up at Aldi shop, fuel £80, coffee & cakes £15. Total £401. We’ve been cycling, paddle boarding, kayaking and open water swimming. We have two days left and plan to spend more time on the SUP, kayaking and swimming as well as walking to a waterfall from our site. We may have more coffee and cake 😂. Thank you for the challenge I’ll see if I can do it again on our next holiday. Take care Gill

Wow that is a great budget. You have done amazing there. We rang the cafe first but it transpires that as long as you arrive before they close at 5 you don’t have to pre book. Thanks for watching 😊

We too are trying to match the Reds and failing (not miserably but happily). We spent the last month in UK, France, Belgium and Spain. £2200 spent. Biggest spend is campsites with only 6 nights out of 31 at free places. Oh and that includes pet passport. So hoping to improve on that this month with more free park ups

M6 toll really annoys me. We no longer use it but the traffic on the non toll road is horrendous 😮

I think if it was a bit cheaper I would use it again. The trouble is I am usually in a company car with a fuel card when I go through so never usually take notice of the price but now that I know how much the van costs I will avoid.

Gosh thats more than Ireland but parkups are a lot easiers. £500 a week is quite expensive and you are not living it up
