Long ago when I 1st looked into Vedanta I heard a similar statement that it doesn't contradict any religion one might belong to but rather enhance it. As a Westerner I thought to myself "Such arrogance, this is impossible." lol It is true. Hard to explain in a simple comment but it is a very old, well thought out, continously challenged & debated spiritual philosophy that takes everything down to its core principles & potential outlooks which all religious systems are built upon. I highly reccommend it.
