All the tall male characters have the same model, Itto, Wriothesley, Alhaitham, and Neuvillette look taller because of their thick shoes and heels, Neuvillette looks buffer because of his judge robe, but wriothesley really has buffer model, it seems like they improved a lot on this, the first was Itto, then Alhaitham, and now wriothesley.

I think all the characters start off with the same model template, same height and size, and then they sculpt the character they want to make. I guess they could also easily modify their body height if they want to.

Wriothesley is the prettiest male character in the game in my opinion, i think he has a realist design compared to other male characters, i think his body has a more pleasant, visual and natural looks, i think other male characters cant get to this point just as wriothesley, hes just chef kiss, i hope this can be the same for female characters one day, it looks like all characters are using the same base and it gets so boring at the point that they start looking the same but with other color palettes, with wrio they got a whole new perspective of male characters and made me realise that defo every character is getting boring and boring, Wriothesley is definetly an innovating character, more characters like him in the future, truly amazing.

Well, they *are* all using the same base. Hoyoverse is a company, after all. It’s more economical to build characters from a set model than it is to create nearly 100 playable characters. If they all had different models, it could take a lot more work (and time) to calibrate their movements and fighting, while having the same model means they can work from the same base for movements+weapon usage as well. That and it’s just more cost effective to use a template (same goes for any industry). We’d probably have fewer new character releases as a result. So while I do think Wriothesley is an upgrade, idk if I’d go so far as to complain about all the characters being similar. I just think they should tweak their base models to be less “stick-like.” Wriothesley is one of the few that doesn’t make me feel like he might break any second if something sat on him. Like one of those chonky fatui guys.

I have a feeling it's because of his design. Neuvillette looks much broader because of his coat design (the shoulders, the cravat, the lapels) and because Wriothesley's coat's lines are drawn a certain way (curvier, I think; at least, not straight), plus the sleeves and the lapels and the necktie that give the whole design a little more depth, it gives the illusion that he's buffer. Although I could also argue that the model is different. From what I saw, Lynette is actually using a new medium female model. You can compare using Lynette and Amber or even Xiangling. Using this, it can be inferred that the new men (Neuvillette and Wriothesley) are also probably using new male models as well.

I’m willing to bet my box of nuggets that Wriothesley just has thicker thighs (I think someone did a side by side comparison with Childe- his chest also has more depth). I’ve zoomed in on all the tall male characters bc I was thinking the same thing (that it’s just an illusion from bow his clothes are drawn + colored). But it is not. I know how it sounds but those thighs are above average. (I’m sorry for violating a fictional character, but he’s not real so I’m not that sorry)

I got Shenhe on her last rerun and Omg she makes his punches go from 8-9 k per hit to 16-20k, highest damage is 45k melt rn, wich is exceptionally high for my standards, he's C0 bc I also got Venti, works pretty well until now but I'll definitely get C1 for Wrio and Shenhe on their reruns

@zhongli3652 Not OP, but I’d say “anatomically correct” makes sense to say because these guys (playable characters) are not your average guy. They can fight and wield (not just carry, actually use them) heavy weapons. The skinny “Bishonen/meishaonian” type doesn’t make sense (realistically- ofc this is a fictional game) given that nearly all male models are stick-thin. Most men irl are not able to wield large weapons- so saying “well most men irl are skinny” doesn’t work here. Different population. And also, it depends on where you live. A lot of men in certain parts of America are very overweight (not muscle, fat), but also inactive compared to these characters. So again, those stats don’t make sense. If we’re looking at men who are physically active *and* are skilled in some type of combat (where they actually fight people, not an average taekwondo club), they usually have some muscle on them. So looking at that population, having a bulkier, more muscular physique would make more sense for these characters. But it’s odd that Wriothesley is the only one that approaches that.

You talk about the weilding weapon stuff, but the characters with visions are literally called being "blessed by the gods" in game or characters that can shapeshift the appearence they want or some that are not even human to begin with. They also have weapon that can disappears and stuff, which is different from other fantasy mmo games that based it on realistic ground. Also most men are able to weild a sword (which is the most used weapon in game) same with a bow or a pole, you don't have to be muscular to weild it. I think the _base_ model is all the same, but things like *HEEL HEIGHT* affect how tall they _look._ Wriothesley's shoes have thick soles, and Itto has those tabi (Japanese shoes w/ two planks on the bottom) that are pretty tall, too. Just noticed how both cryo bois (Kaeya & Wriothesley) have them tight pants, though...😏🍑🍑

They buffed the arms (and forgot the legs) and that’s when we got Alhaitham, they buffed the legs and we finally got Wrio 🖤 I may be wrong but that’s wgat i just thought~

Yes I agree we need more males characters with meet on their bones. I personally like playing the female characters for mains but I pulled for Wriothesley and was lucky enough to get him very very lucky. My go to mains are Eula and Wriothesley. All the guys with heels or tall shoe bases are taller than ones with thin shoes so height really isn't a great comparison. But he does look like he has a wider chest and thicker legs, maybe it's the grey instead of a dark color that's tricking the eye, not sure.
