The information that Sasha and Naomi left WWE RAW at noon was from Twitter user @Adidas_Head88’s tweet that is now deleted. He claimed that he’s close to the sources and his tweet thread is getting cited widely.

I don’t blame Sasha Banks & Naomi. They tried to make these titles mean something but when WWE continuously treats them like nothing, what else is there left to do? I won’t be surprised if both Sasha & Naomi left WWE. And Corey Graves has no room to talk when he was unprofessional himself by sleeping with his then-coworker. This story is so mind blowing. I wish them all the best in whatever it is they do. I hope they decide to return but if they leave, I wish them all the best.

The titles should mean something. Very true. Also, forget leaving, they could get fired, or buried on return. Corey and the announcers are fed lines through their headsets. Finally be fair, all of the wrestlers are with eachother.

Was Naomi unprofessional for getting involved with her co-worker Jimmy? Corey and his wife were already separated at the time so there was nothing unprofessional about his behavior then or now; he was just doing his job. Why are we blaming everyone in his situation except the two that walked out over a TV script?

Nailed it!!!!!! If the had Naomi pin anyone eles they could have made a story where the focus becomes all about Naomi being number one contender and then not paying as much attention to her tag matches, causing them to get loses or even instances where Sasha has to come in and save the day to prevent losing their belts. Eventually this could have Sasha go into a "you're only looking out for you and not us anymore" angle and doesn't save Naomi from taking a pin and losing their tag belts. Then when Naomi faces Bianca, you could have Sasha interfere and cost Naomi the match (leading then to fued) or Naomi going over and Sasha coming out to attack her. Either way, Bianca could still be in the title picture and the 3 of them would put on one helluva match.

I stand with Sasha and Naomi. For the second time WWE lied about making the tag division worthwhile. Sasha could have elevated the division twice now but once again they screw her over. This time they pulled the rug after getting racially motivated good press at wrestlemania. Used these two for good press based on skin color then oppresses them again. Fuck that. WWE is so petty and honestly gross if they are trying to make Sasha and Naomi look unprofessional, difficult to work with, etc, to other companies and to fans. I totally support them for walking out, especially if you've heard of the real reason why they are upset. If you're treated like shit, and your company does not understand or support who you are and what you are fighting for, then just leave. See it as unprofessional if you want, I'd call that standing up for yourself either way. People say they robbed Nikki and Doudrop of a main event match, but girl... They were about to lose either way, get fed to a competitor and that would've done absolutely nothing for the tag division, nothing for them as a team, nothing to elevate the tag championships, NOTHING. So might as well just not be in the main event if that's for no reason at all but to diminish your credibility.

Asuka is truly the best in the business, both as a competitor and a worker. She's exciting to watch, has amazing chemistry with whoever she's working with, has an incredible move-set, and her iconic image and entrance. She kind of reminds me of The Rock during her peak. While she's on that elite level of the top stars in the division and is a dominant, formidable opponent to anyone, she's still selfless and is willing to put over talent clean. Unlike some of the women like Charlotte and (up until recently) Becky who only seemed to ever win 95% of the time, and the 5% of times they lose, it was due to shenanigans never putting over anyone clean outside of a couple Ls in 5+ years.

For realllllll, people seem to forget that the wrestlers aren't employees, they're contractors. Also, for people who are just unsympathetic to Sasha and Naomi saying they should have just basically shut up and taken whatever story was presented to them, obviously must have never been in a situation at their jobs where they feel compromised, disrespected, or unheard. -_- People need to understand everyone has their own limits and boundaries, Sasha and Naomi felt they reached theirs so they did what they felt was in their favor. Not everyone has to agree with it or even want to do the same, but at least acknowledge it was their choice to make.

I think anyone who "complains" about their booking will be treated as a diva or seen as spoiled in WWE. Producers probably think that everyone should be grateful to be put in a match on TV despite losing.. but as per Sasha and Naomi, feeding both tag champions to the singles champions will absolutely diminish their credibility. And hellloo, are there no other singles superstars in both brands?🙄 But WWE is stupid if they decide to release Sasha & Naomi for their behavior because it will definitely be the company's loss to lose them!
@OKThen1982
@OKThen1982 2 жыл бұрын
They SHOULD be grateful to be put in a match on TV despite losing. ESPECIALLY at a PPV where women have a long history of being excluded. ESPECIALLY when they're not being asked to do anything controversial or demeaning but put on great matches with their colleagues. Can we remember that these are not legitimate fighters but actors? Literally nobody gets hung up thinking "Oh, she lost to Bianca so she must not be good." Being a professional wrestler is like being on a wheel, sometimes you're up and sometimes you're down. It's not the end of the world. Sasha and Naomi were given titles and main event spots and they are PAID VERY WELL so to say they have reason to complain at all is so grossly entitled. There are hundreds of women sitting on the sidelines dying to perform but they chose Sasha and Naomi because they know their worth as performers.
@Panyingg413
@Panyingg413 2 жыл бұрын
@@OKThen1982 EXACTLY, there are a lot of other wrestlers sitting in the sidelines so why not use them instead? Why bother having tag team champs when you’re not going to build a tag division? If they “trust” Sasha & Naomi to take on Bianca & Ronda who are the singles champions of their respective brands, why not trust them to wrestle in the same PPV but as a tag team (Since it was WWE themselves who put them in one)? To say that they are “entitled” to such creative frustrations must mean they are robots who should just agree with everything they are told to do because it’s their “job” and they are compensated anyway. I do concur that walking out mid-show is disrespectful because they affected other people with their decision, no matter how unhappy they are. They could have handled it differently for sure
@OKThen1982
@OKThen1982 2 жыл бұрын
@@Panyingg413 The problem isn't being frustrated or disagreeing with creative direction. They are absolutely allowed to be frustrated, but they did sign a CONTRACT to perform. They have every right to not like it and surely if they were asked to do something controversial or against their personal beliefs they should refuse. But being an actor signed to a project and just saying "This isn't the script I would have wrote so I'm breaching my contract" is absolutely entitled diva behavior. It's a shame really because Sasha and Naomi both could have made the best of this and then just not renewed their contracts when the time came. Instead, they've made themselves look problematic over something that wasn't really worth all this.
@Panyingg413
@Panyingg413 2 жыл бұрын
@@OKThen1982 Yes, what they did (Walking out on RAW) was wrong because they have a contract to fulfill. But you just said that they should be "grateful" to be put in a PPV and wrestle Bianca & Ronda, and now you're saying that it's okay for them to feel creatively frustrated?😅 That IS the point, they feel frustrated with that booking because the tag team division means nothing to WWE when they tried to built it up for the past few months. Them losing isn't the problem, but they are TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS, why not lose to a TAG TEAM? All I'm saying is that them (or more so Sasha) being branded as a "diva" & having told to "fix their attitudes" because of creative differences is unfair on their part. I agree though that they could have handled it differently.

@@Panyingg413 You can be creatively frustrated with a script but grateful for the opportunity to go out there and do what you love. Regardless of the creative direction, Sasha and Naomi could have put on an incredible match. As much as they talk about loving to wrestle, you would think they'd be grateful for such an elevated platform to put on a great match (especially Naomi with Bianca). All I'm saying is that if it's not a work, then it does come off slightly entitled or like a diva to be unhappy with a script and walk off set because of it.

I honestly believe that Naomi felt she couldn’t be as outspoken as Sasha Banks or her white counterparts. A dark skin unambiguous black woman in a male and WHITE DOMINATE SPORT can’t be outspoken without being looked at as difficult, defiant, MASCULINE or any other negative stereotypes that’s associated with a black woman. Naomi is a dark skin, unambiguous black woman. Sasha Banks who is mixed (half black and half white), ambiguous and LIGHT SKIN, can be outspoken without so much scrutiny. Naomi needed Sasha Banks for this. Naomi has felt unappreciated and underutilized for years. She wasn’t going to just walk out because she knows how that would make her look as a dark skin black woman. She needed Sasha Banks to put the battery in her back to really “balls up” to WWE. Sasha Banks has pushed the envelope standing up to the “people in power” for years and still able to keep her job. It couldn’t be just Naomi. And yes, I’m bringing race into it because it’s just as much of a factor to the mistreatment of these women just as gender is.

I think it's a work because where was all Sasha's protesting and justice seeking when she and Bayley were Women's Tag Team Champions, RAW Women's Champion, and SD Women's Champion while both women were ONLY feuding in singles matches with Asuka? Sasha had zero issues with the company when she was the focal point and double champion NOT having tag title defenses. So if this is true then that tells you everything that you need to know about Sasha's real problem with the current situation. Js

The titles felt relevant when the golden role models won those titles again, plus sasha going out for the raw women's championship is a great choice that time since asuka needs a serious challenger and she already beaten the top women on raw so I understand why sasha won the raw women's championship to elevate the title, asuka and the raw women's division that time
@OKThen1982
@OKThen1982 2 жыл бұрын
@@bahalakadiyan2379 It's not about whether Sasha was a serious challenger. It's that Sasha didn't care about the tag titles being showcased in a tag team feud when she held them and was also winning a singles title. If this isn't a work, Sasha's issue is that she's a tag champion that ISN'T winning a singles title this time.

@@OKThen1982 or maybe because as you said, it's already been done? And there's no point in going there again win or lose because clearly everyone would prefer a tag division that's focused on tag team wrestling? Keep in mind all of this is after they've practically fired and split up all the teams that could have made a division also. or perhaps the idea of champions being jobbed to other champions just because isn't really a useful idea either? Dude, there are FAR more reasons to suggest it's not about Sasha but your first thought was to go there. Makes me wonder...

@@IamTheStormThatIsApproaching1 There are not "far more reasons". You listed one. I already said champions being jobbed to other champions isn't a really useful idea yet Sasha was all for it when she was the champion beating other champions. It's okay if you want to believe that Sasha's doing this out of nobility. I don't and I'm not trying to change your mind. I'm just pointing out historical facts about her that contradict the current narrative. Makes me wonder why you feel like everyone should just automatically share your opinion.

@@OKThen1982 are you stupid, of course there are more reasons lomao. And why wouldn't she be for winning, when the tag champion and tag titles LOOK GOOD.
