There’s no list that actually knows how many people are playing anything except Steve any list you’re talking about is conjecture and bullshit. This game isn’t on speed so we can’t see how it’s doing where is their actual player count so we have no idea how many are playing but what I do know is I play on console with cosplay turned off and I can’t get up and piss between matches because there’s other than being here wait time between lobby and all the timer there’s no wait for lobby to get full matches almost instantly and over again and you very rarely might see the same person Other than the fact that the game is his focus fuck I mean look around most of the characters are female. The ones that are female I mean find me one straight white guy in the whole bunch fantasy but this game is fuck outside from that, it’ll last forever assuming they’re making moneybecause it’s one and they’re responsive to our complaint and it’s free so it’s going to last long time

@@SpottedHares it sounds good but it’s all bullshit. Nobody knows who’s playing what on Xbox or PlayStation? There’s actually no data available at least I’m PlayStation. There’s no data. Tony doesn’t release those kind of numbers. It really would be nice if we could look at a control panel somewhere and see what you know, number one list of the games in order of which ones are being played about. It seems like that should be part of something maybe the store I don’t know we can look at what’s the most download for you’re going to the store select all select genre, whatever platform andby most downloaded or best selling that holy Delia, who has the game who won the game that who’s playing the game literally website claiming to know how many people are playing any given game or how many people total do you know player count are registered for the game or any of that it’s all bullshit. Nobody knows anything but what developers tell you the one thing we can know is it’s on Steve. We can know how many people are playing it right now and how many people played it in the Last highest concert in the last 24 and we can know how many people play in the highest speed current hour ever we can see when it goes up and down not view or manipulate, but it’s the only real data. Certainly there are certain games I think for instance even online I think they have a website that gives you player data, but most games and most developers do not do that, so anybody claiming to know just full of shit

Get this game some actually decent marketing. The only reason I even know this gem exists is because my 40 year old brother told me about it on a random Friday morning. Call Of Duty knows that stuffing the game with bundles and other slop is the way to entertain peoples awful attention spans nowadays. Get the game half decent marketing, listen to your community, and this game is staying for a WHILE

I can't play this game because of the netcode. I don't know if it's because of where I live, but it seems like enemies see me 1/2 of a second fastest then I see them. I'll turn the corner and die almost immediately. Enemies eat my bullets and 2 shot me often as well. The game doesn't feel right, it feels jittery and laggy. I also, think there's a cheating issue in this game, in my opinion people don't talk about it much because there's no kill cam.

There’s rarely any cheaters. What you’re experiencing is the lack of sbmm. You’re going to have some crazy demons from time to time now that you’re not playing a game that keeps you corralled with other similarly skilled players. It’s how things used to he.

Don't know if it's because I'm average or if the game is just infested with toxic players, but the experience is similar to cod when it comes to getting shit teammates and balancing. I think no Skill base matchmaking is a good thing, but my experience isn't much different. I think the two reasons why it's not much different is the awful netcode and 90% of the time I'm a solo player. All these loser sweats live by the servers and have a whole 6 man squad with them.

My problem with xdefiant was that it launched with very little content and its main selling point from other creators is “cod with no sbmm”. No one mentions anything else and to most people learning about the game will only hear it as cod with no sbmm. The game was in development for 3 years and only had 5 game modes to show at launch and had team death match, a staple in most shooters now, updated in post launch. The game play is good, feels good and fun but there is nothing else keeping the average player enticed to keep playing besides its five modes that can also be found in other shooters. Xdefiant has almost nothing to show on its own in terms of uniqueness it brings. Little to no in game lore. Barely recognizable Ubisoft references besides in the training room And no New modes unique to xdefiant that would want to keep people playing because 4 out of the 5 launch modes can be found elsewhere with better gameplay or more content besides mp. Being a free game does not excuse it launch bare bones. I enjoy the game but after doing one of each modes, you see there’s not much of anything else to do. They have map voting but what’s the point if everyone changes lobby’s afterwards, it’s as if sbmm never left (iirc sbmm is why people automatically switch lobby’s). And grinding skins does not count imo as a reason to keep playing the game. If the main thing a game has going is grinding for gold then that’s just boring to me. Imo it needed more time and should’ve launched with more, something to keep players engaged longer

if you need things to do to keep playing a game than either you need more games to play or you need to take breaks, i play XD almost every day for a few hours before i play other games with my friends and i have a blast on XD because of the gameplay alone. to be so entitled to say that a game YOU NEVER EVEN PAID FOR should have more content is stupid.

Most people are just realists. This game have no competition because it’s summer and it is still sliding. In the fall it will have to compete with valorant, cod and all the big single player releases. I also don’t see the game being completely fixed because the engine wasn’t made for fps.

Xdefiant is the game I play mostly right now but I don't know if I feel like playing it too much longer. It feels so frustrating to play with how frequently I am getting shot through walls and losing gun fights do to bad netcode. And I have been playing FPS games for a long time.

The thing is. We don't know yet. I think most of us understand that the pre season isn't really meant to be all that grand in terms of content drop. Come season 1 is really when they need to prove they can keep a player base interested in playing. Like if we're a month into season 1 and starving for content then that's probably a problem. There needs to be events and maybe some other shit I can't think of lol. For example right now would be a great time for a summer event yet we don't have one nor is there any words of one around the corner (that I know of). For me the gameplay of xdefiant keeps me hooked. I dont feel like I'm starving for content BUT I am not everyone. Attention spans keep getting smaller so they need to figure out how to keep those players. It's a great thing there won't be anything like a yearly release so all there focus can be put into improving what we have and adding to it. Something I wish call of duty did a long time ago but here we are.

I played a few games yesterday and there were 9/12 players in the lobby using the Holo shield ability. With the invincibility circle and shotgun thing. It's so god damn awful. Annoying ass faction Escort either needs to remove respawn delay/ shorten the timer or make me not respawn 100m (not exaggerating) from the objective And the Social menu is god awful. It opens the Ubisoft social menu. There's not even an in game friends list I can see. In order to invite someone it, it tabs out the game first

I highly agree with the steam opinion. I love the game. But I won’t spend money on it unless it’s on steam so that I can use my steam wallet. And the game definitely isn’t dying. Do people not realize top 10 still means hundreds of thousands of players? There’s between 4-500,000 players online at any given moment right now. Source: data mining the servers. It’s out there for anyone else to look up (that number is accumulative of every platform available).

Yeah I don't think so. Especially being F2P. I would appreciate a free for all mode though. Like I don't get why it isn't included?? Quality of life updates every 6 months or so would be nice though. Even modifying the graphical fidelity to be more on par with other modern shooters. That would rake most in. You wouldn't think so but without a doubt graphics have always been a big deal for the majority of gamers. So I hope Mark and his team will consider this. This game is fantastic. I see so many complaints about the most minor shit Yes, of course, they need to fix the net code. It's annoying, but I find this issue gets exacerbated by streamers trying to be the person who discovered it and bad players who think their .5 K/D is because Sniping is easy, bunny hopping is cheating, and net code. I hear this: "We're not in 2008 anymore." Wtf does that even mean? What COD had you running around the map with abilities and powers? LOL. SBMM is terrible, and the only people who like it are those who quit out of matches they were playing badly in instead of grinding out the rough games and learning from their mistakes. I will never understand wanting a game company to make your experience easier in a competitive shooter and inflate your sense of accomplishment.

Im done and uninstalled 3 updates and nothing has fixed and its go non content and i have no reasons to comeback. Especially with long grind for time i dont have. Just because a game is free it doesnt mean a game is gonna be good. Look at overwatch 2 which is a souless sequal. It may sound bad but he xdefiant community have Stockholm syndrome becusse most of its audience are disanfranchised cod vets and are used to to the lack of content which has forced to them to accept it as normal. Xdef is literally doing what is doing what cod is doing without eomm which is a great in the right direction but a terrible selling point

I know it’s not important or relevant but I completely gave up on this game. I haven’t played in the past 2 weeks due to the bunny hoppers, the god awful team balance algorithm where I’m pitted against players that are 150+ while I get the teammates who can’t break 5 kills, intel suit spammers galore or spiders running rampart all over the map. If they can at least nerf the bunny hopping down to 2 jumps & make a mercenary playlist then I might come back, otherwise I’m fine with just watching these sweats just ruining everyone else’s enjoyment that attempt to play this game

Call of duty it’s like OG call of duty with you know movement and gunfight similar to what people played years ago. Its dying because its not a good game. It's really repetitive and boring. Maps are too small, and unappealing. Its not a friendly game for new players. You can't have casual experience in this game because of all try hards that jump around and kill you in 2 shots. There is no point of playing this game because the progression means nothing. You can only grind weapon level, but that also feels like it doesn't matter. You know games like CS or Crossfire, if you had some skin, everyone could see it and you felt special. Here, you can't even chat with enemies. My gold camo skin means nothing because nobody even acknowledges the fact that I have cool skin. It feels useless. Also, matches are too short and the amount of time it takes to find a game and enter it, as well as post match loading screen takes way too long. If you have 50 hours on this game, 20 are just lobby hours. It's a shame but the game will die soon
