Is Yield Farming DEAD? Are There ANY Good Opportunities Left? DEFI Explained

So is Yield Farming dead? Are there any good farming opportunities left? And when are 1000% APYs coming back? We’ll answer all of these questions in this video.
Before we jump into the main topic, let’s quickly recap what yield farming actually is.
Yield Farming, in essence, is a way of trying to maximise a rate of return on capital by leveraging different DeFi protocols. Yield farmers try to chase the highest yield by switching between multiple different strategies. If the strategy doesn't work anymore or if there is a better strategy available the yield farmers move their funds around.
Liquidity mining plays a big role in yield farming to such an extent that sometimes these two concepts are used interchangeably. Liquidity mining is a process of distributing extra tokens to the users of a protocol, for example, Compound distributing COMP tokens to lenders and borrowers on their platform or Uniswap distributing UNI tokens to their liquidity providers.

To be honest, I don't need three-digit APYs. A 10% APY is enough to become a millionaire well before retirement age. However, it needs to be 10% APY of VALUE, not coin count. The investment needs to be WORTH 10% more after a year. Simply having 10% more coins doesn't make for 10% APY, if the coins depreciate. So, I'm mostly looking into investing in those coins that are likely to gain in value over time, and I'm looking into those DeFi opportunities which can add anything on top of that appreciation. Sure, a short-lived coin may temporarily yield more, but that's based on selling those coins at the right moment, and I'm not sure if I want to play the 'timing the market' game.

yes it needs demands for increase capital. But how does it increase the demands? How is the fundamental of these tokens? only a useless crop tokens? These token demand mostly depends on speculative trading, bitcoin trends, and whales. The token itself has no value. Great video!

if i was a developer or found one i could automate the business model of Celsius network. Celsius token is constanlty in high demand because users stake it to recieve more intrest on their other assets. Celsius buys back their own token from exchanges every monday causing even more demand. imagine one could automate the same model for eth or bitcoin on a decentralised liquidity pool

Could you explain more what will happen for example with UNI, CUR after 4 years when they will give all the tokens? How will they motivate people to keep money in the pool? Or they have infinite inflations? if I remember good UNI 2 000 000 tokens per week, curv per day.

UNI will have 2% inflation after 4 years. Providing liquidity generates quite nice returns even without subsidising with extra tokens (if you are ok with impermanent loss in your pair). There was plenty of people providing liquidity before the liquidity mining craze even started, so I think they should be ok in the future.

I have a problem: I bought OG on binance and then sent it on my BSC, but instead of Chiliz Chain which is the OG chain I 've chosen BSC. The OG didn't appear on my wallet but I could use it on pancake swap. So I turned it into OG-BNB LP and then staked it. But now at the OG-BNB LP it shows that I have 0 staked, but while also earning a little big of cake. Are my tokens lost? When I press - to unstake it says that I have " 0.000000015127947701 " OG-BNB LP. Any answers are greatly appreciated
