Yeah I’m with you on easy calls. Had this happen. Breaker tripped. Used a megaohm meter and found compressor to be bad. Replaced compressor and not wire harness. Got a call back and found breaker tripped again. Replaced wire harness to compressor and never happened again. Now I will always replace that. Wish it came with compressor.

I also hope it's a cap or the float switch tripped by a clogged condensate line .

Good! I'm not alone. 🙂

so it wasn't a short to ground compressor?
@theairconditioningguy2 ай бұрын
@@themrmoy40 Nope! Wire gauge and circuit breaker size was the problem.
@ChumpyChicken22 ай бұрын
Hi mate, if the gauge of the wire is 10 would that be ok with a 45amp breaker?
@ChumpyChicken22 ай бұрын
I think I’m getting a bit mixed up here!
@theairconditioningguy2 ай бұрын
No 10 gauge is only good up to 30 amps
@ChumpyChicken22 ай бұрын
@@theairconditioningguy ahhh! Yes the higher the gauge the smaller the conductor!! Thanks
