Is your blender base stuck?? Here's an easy way to get it unstuck!

Most people might already know this, but I didn't! We have an old blender which we used to use a lot. For awhile now, we haven't been able to get the base off to clean it (undoubtedly because it's stuck with all the milk etc from our smoothies). No matter how much you try to twist it off, it's literally worse than a jar lid.
But I came across a simple solution, and it works! Now we can actually clean the blender jug properly and start making yummy smoothies again, without having to spend hundreds of $$ on a new blender!

Oh my gosh! thank you so much! I have been going crazy trying to unstick my blender from the bottom! I was afraid of the glass pitcher breaking in my hands. I tried hot water, I tried putting it in the freezer and then trying to open it, I tried wearing rubber gloves and forcing it open, I tried prying it with a butter knife, I tried pouring olive oil into the pitcher and then trying to turn it. After watching this video, I was impressed but immediately thought that that will not work for my blender that has been stuck for over 8 years, like really stuck. I am a female, so I had had several strong men attempted to open that blender, but they just couldn’t. I was on Amazon, eBay, Walmart, browsing around for a new one before watching this video because I had given up hope, understandably so after over 8 years. I’ve been using this “trick” for years, but there’s a couple of things you also need to do. The first is you need to turn the top piece in a COUNTERCLOCKWISE direction at the same time applying a slightly downward pressure. The second is, do not use a smooth surface to hold the base. No marble, granite, quartz, etc. Use wood, like a butchers block. Smooth surfaces will make your efforts turn the base as well.

OMG it worked, thank you so much. I just started using my blender today for the first time and then it got stuck, was seriously so stressed bout what to do, like whom should I contact to get it fixed. Thank goodness I decided to look this up on youtube and then watched your video 🙏🏻
