I’ve never been to a freightliner dealer where any service advisor gave a s*** what I had to say. Especially Joplin, MO one. I tell them exactly what I know is wrong but they still charge me 1 hour labor. for each item.. diagnose charge, see. But I didn’t need them to. Well this man in AL seems nicer.

2007 Freight liner 12.6 volts. Been trying to get it to start. She will not crank fast enough. Brand new batteries. So cold and frustrating . Tried either no go. Thought it had vapor lock. But tonight I got just slow crank. 20 degrees out. Burrrr

Listen to this man. The amount of wear and tear on the fuel pump when dry is catastrophic. At least pump prime it if you do have low fuel after that week of sitting. I just wish the USA used COE models more. All these trucks were designed for it. Would make a mechanics life so much easier.

This is what happened to us I think.. it was about 1/4 tank when we shut down for 10 hours on a pretty decent slope.. ever since then we're experiencing hard starts or it will crank and never turn over. Is this something that should resolve itself? We fueled again since then as well.. should we have primed the tank?

That’s only fuel pump problem u don’t have to keep full your tanks. Prime pump couldn’t hold the fuel inside. If fuel is going back to tanks first check your fuel pump pressure and than check you fuel line houses that’s it

I drive a 2015 cascadia and every time i shut the engine off for mor then 5 minutes it has to be primed, do you know what thats alla about?

how longs it been since you replace the fuel filters. I got 23,000 on mine at the moment. Having this issue. getting an oil change in the next couple days full B svc
