I remember doing this with my baby… she’s 10 now. I had no choice but to because the environment is so dry here in California. I grew up in the southern states and was used to the humidity. So when I realized the difference, I pulled out the Doo grow grease and always sealed her with grease to lock in the moisture. I also used a steamer with her conditioner step. Again, just tweaks for a drier climate. Her hair grew so long doing these things. Your baby’s hair is so beautiful. ❤️❤️❤️❤️😍

Wonderful mother and smart! My daughter hair grew super long like down way past her waist, so long that people couldn't believe she was only under ten years old with hair that long. and I sealed with sulfur 8 grease and I used rose oil, tea tree oil and olive oil. Twice a week I use moisturizing type curl cream or castor oil moisturizer and I gave her acv and water conditioning treatments once a month and as a scalp detoxer. I used only olive oil conditioner and shampoo or sulfur 8 shampoo once ever other month. My hair is growing super fast, I seal with Shea butter moisturizer or sulfur 8 grease only or design essential moisturizer. I get by weekly scalp treatment with peppermint in it. I use tea tree oil, pepper mint and rose oil every other day on my scalp. I keep my hair platter or braided. I have no breakage at all and I sleep on satin pillow cases only. My hair is super gorgeous with bright silver strands. I get a little trim every 5 months, I don't keep any dead ends and have very few when my stylist checks. I plan to do a tutorial on how I grow my hair and my daughter hair. Licking the hair with tea tree and rose oil several times a week, makes the hair thrive.

I grew up using Hemp, Natures Blessing and Dax Grease. I used to sit on my hair as a kid until the time I started doing my own hair at age 12. Even through high school I grew long healthy hair with the usage of Nature Blessings grease. Now I use grease to seal the ends of my natural hair style. I once had give beautician tell me stop using grease because it wasn't healthy for the scalp. 🙄 So I stopped using grease and started to get knots, breakage and splits at the end of my hair. I went to what my mother taught me and nurse my hair back to health.😉 Grease is special hair care "secret" only for Black people.☺️

You should shampoo your hair, condition it, then do an apple cider vinager rinse, then use a leave in conditioner of choice, then seal it all in with blue magic hair grease, braid and style hair. The vinager rinse will equal out the porisity and bring the hair into balance. Your hair is not to dry for grease, grease is what your hair need to lock in the moisture. Your hair will remain moisturized for longer.

This just reminds me of when i was a pre-teen/teen do8ng my own hair how I would pretty much wet my hair, add leave in, and some type of cream styler(pink oil) and then African pride grease. Comb through hair, then add a bit of gel(the brown gel) brush it all up into a big pony. My hair would be moistirized until my next wash session. Meaning it was still "greasy" when it was time to wash it. Grease and water used to be my only products before I got my hands on gel. My hair was big, poofy, thick, long and healthy. Then I got lazzy and my hair went through changes. Im not bald, I still have my edges but, I do suffer from tension alopecia on the right side. Plus I would wear a scarf All The Time!! So the tight ponys, the fabric of my cotton scarfs and thats the side I sleep on had help with my hair thinning on that side. I am now loc'd still dealing with this issue altgough hair is growing there but its really fine. I may go back to my undercut. Anyway, great video and its good to see that at one point I was doing it right.

Thank you for explaining what oils are used for! I use coconut oil to moisturize my hair 2 days before washing!
@ncbynovella2 жыл бұрын
You're welcome! Coconut oil is a great pre shampoo treatment. I do this too overnight using coconut oil or avocado oil then shampoo in the morning.

I do my girls hair the same. If you want. Place bows at the end of the hair.

Hi there!! I’m new to your channel. Thank you for posting! I’ve always used grease, never stopped just slowed down a bit. I do have a question, I pray you can help me out. I have HP hair, so I usually use the LOC method. Should I use LGC, by using the grease in place of the oil to seal it? Also, is your daughter’s hair LP. BYW, her hair is gorgeous and it’s my hair goals!😍
@ncbynovella3 жыл бұрын
Hey sis, welcome to the family!! I wouldn't use grease before the cream. You want your hair to be moisturised first before adding your grease. The grease will then create a film on the strands to help slow down the evaporation of moisture/water from the hair. She has LP hair and thank you so much. Long healthy hair is achievable for all of us 🙌🏾

Me ha encantado ver este video, su madre cuidando el cabello a su niña, así cuando crecza lo tenga bello y largo.
