They most definitely do not have the Holy Spirit indwelling and that's what makes a Christian by definition (John 14:16-17, most of Romans 8, Galatians 5:22-24 and 2 Corinthians 13:5 which has an exhortation to *EXAMINE YOURSELVES* to make sure Jesus indwells through the Holy Spirit. WHO in the world does not talk about their most important relationship??? NOBODY!! Spouses and fiancés about each other (even when things aren't going well, they talk about them), parents about children, grandparents about grandchildren, friends about friends... Well if Jesus is your most important relationship, you cannot stop yourself from talking about him. You cannot help yourself. Period.
