How the smash bros fandom treats Marth, and the other fire emblems honestly, has been a FASCINATING case study. Because back in the brawl days when it was just marth and twink ike, everyone was shipping them with Marth being the "girly fruit uke" one and ike being the "manly big guy hyper macho seme", you know average 2000s homophobia iyky whatever. COME TO FIND OUT, Ike is canonically bisexual, being able to marry TWO different male characters at the end of his game (i think its path of radiance). Meanwhile Marth, at least from what Ive observed, is straight. So thats already interesting from a sociological perspective, but its even more interesting when youblook at how gay the rest of the fire blems are. Robin is canonically male, and shares a "very close bond" with Chrom. Lucina pulls a mulan and dresses like marth (her ancestor) to hide her identity from chrom(her dad). Fe fates, the game corrin was from, was the first (i think) game to include same sex marriage options. And three houses, bylthes game, added even more same sex marriage options. Tldr: fire emblem is very fruity, but ironically marth is not

as someone who was an incineroar girl i think i have some nuance to give to them. first off, incineroar is THE performer of the cast. Incineroars fighting style is very powerful, brash and fierce, however incineroar fights to win over the audience, this is especially shown with the deliberate posing after some moves. As you yourself have said in another video, wrestling is a form of drag. And incineroar simply nails this point. Although they have a more masculine aesthetic that didnt stop other contenders from going into okay tier. Is this enough to bring it into okay? im not sure. But its something i thought was worth mentioning.

While I do agree that Dark Samus isn't that girly I don't think she's a skip. If you play her and really look at her movements and her stance she is definitely serving it up. Always up on one leg on her tippie toe floating off the ground. The way she dodges is almost like a dance and just the fact that she never touches the ground.

IDK bout Zelda and Shiek (mainly shiek) probably girlypop for just how they are in ultimate but brawl/melee they EAT. Especially brawl Zelda like no girl could be in HER lane looking so graceful then transforming to Shiek like wow that's TRUE MOTHER!
