Windows 10 is the last Windows I will ever use. I am using Zorin and it rocks.

I have used every Windows version from Windows 3.1 through Windows 11. I heard about Zorin OS and thought I would give it a go. I've found it to be VERY Windows like and, from that point of view, very familiar and easy to use. I went full on and gave it a Windows 10 wall paper and added a 'Data (D)' Folder (to simulate my 'Data (D)' Drive in Windows. And then added sub-folders to match the various Windows 'User' folders. Now it looks, feels and works a lot like Windows. Being Linux, it obviously doesn't have support for some of my favourite apps, BUT it does do 95% of what I want. Zorin OS has turned my old circa 2010 HP Pavilion dv6 laptop into a fast and quite respectable workhorse that, in the main for the things I do, I can hardly tell the difference from Windows 10. I would recommend Zorin OS for any Windows user looking to give Linux a try.

Hello: Interesting video. I have tested Zorin Os since version 12, I even bought the Pro version. Honestly it seems to me that Zorin has a lot of marketing as the real input for a new user coming from Windows is quite limited. Granted it is beautiful and has several default desktops to choose from, but everything else you find in Ubuntu, which you notice, too much, it depends on. Or in other words its real contribution is quite limited. In terms of resource consumption, I have compared it with Ubuntu 22.04, on which it is based, and Ubuntu is much better optimized. On the other hand, its dialogue with the community is not fluid. Regarding the Zorin Os Lite version, which you mention, (which I would say is much more interesting than the Core) they will not continue to offer it after Zorin 18. In my opinion, Linux Mint Cinnamon is a better choice in terms of ease, resource usage, fluidity, familiarity and stability. Clem publishes monthly news about the project and dialogues with the community, a situation that is not present in Zorin Os.

Not all games work on Linux and the same goes for apps... you need to type a million lines in the terminal to get a simple update. 😂😅😁😁😁

@@locopardo_5534Thank you my dear friend, it is clear that you have a good heart and love the good for everyone...I tried Linux before, but the thing that made me feel bored with this operation system that it does not run games. I am a person who loves cracked games. Will this method work for me? I can run games such as FIFA 19 and Shadow of the Tomb Raider.
