España, seis hojas de álbum es una suite de piezas fáciles para piano compuestas por Isaac Albéniz. Son obras de danzas evocativas que llevan por título. Las seis composiciones han sido trascritas para otros instrumentos (especialmente para guitarra). El Tango es una de las obras más difundidas de Albéniz, tanto o más como la suite Iberia.

Albeniz really likes playing in unison 2 octaves apart. There are passages like that in *many* of his pieces.

He does! I once heard that this was his way of reproducing flamenco singers' voices. He does it very clearly in the central part of El Albaicín from Iberia.

@@crescenzoverde-vlog Jazz is considered to be art music and hasn't been a "popular music" anymore for decades. You have a very elitist point of view on the subject, much more than great composers like Gerschwin who can't really be classified as a classical or jazz composer, or even Ravel, who got inspired by jazz for his left hand concerto.

It's one of his easier works. Look up his Suite Iberia for some harder Albéniz

@@eifbkcn it is easy in the sense that everyone who plays piano could eventually learn it, given time. Iberia is difficult in the sense that most pianists could not hope to play it in their life times because it requires a prodigious degree of technical ability.
