In that case Netero’s Gaunyin is more likely to be a Conjured construct rather than an emitted one but who knows. To add to the Beyond Netero part even though his name alone is a bad a argument for why he’s stronger than his Dad, I can imagine Isaac hoping his son would grow stronger than him one day which Mizaistorm kinda speculates. If you think about it, Guanyin is mainly an enhancement ability, since Netero is definitely using nen to speed up his prayer motions, and that's the condition that makes the whole ability work.

When Netero says that he isn't among the top five nen masters I think that he isn't talking in terms of combat capability. As we see many times in HxH, nen isn't just about pure combat strength. Netero is most likely just talking about pure nen proficiency, as in skill with using and manipulating aura, aka verbatim what he says as "nen masters". He is most definably the strongest in terms of combat prowess as the Zodiacs have sparred with him, and his whole hatsu is based around combat. But when he says mastery that would imply that there are people out there (like Ging) who are better at using the system of nen to their benefit.

He will get crushed very fast. Remember, his arm was cut clean easily by Pitou.

Netero is actually way stronger than his prime because his Prayer was not as fast compared to his Nen ability buffing it. Edit-> The downplay for Netero being Mach 1 is also incorrect because the Nen specifically states, " With his fist alone, Netero surpassed sound" That means, without Nen or praying, Netero was beyond superhuman who breaks the sound barrier. To put that into perspective, If Goku and Netaro fought without their magic system, then Netero wins because his body is more monstrous. At the very least, he and Goku would have a good fight.

@@zagessj Prime Netero had not fully completed his training (praying) and developed his bodhisattva. That happened after he left the Dojo. Prime Netero was 46 when he reached the Peak of his physical ability. At the age of 50, Netero had become capable of completing the daily ritual in under an hour. So during the Mountain training and during his time at the Dojo, Netero did not have the bodhisattva nor was his Nen as refine. He was specifically stated to be a martial artist, not a Nen user. So, it's possible Netero awaken Nen during his praying. The strongest version of Netero would probably be the one when he went to the dark continent. Edit-> The Rusty Netero should be way stronger than his younger prime version since he is also way faster.

He took off 100 kg weight before fighting Raditz, caught bullets in DB, easily handled many lions, many times trained in the gravity chamber and time capsule without using ki. Trained with Korin. He can't be caught by normal human eyes. And Netero nen was lagging behind compared to his fist and he wasn't faster physically than his nen. He was just slow in his technique which he mastered by the end. He was able to move at his max speed even when he conjured the Bodhisattva. And we are just talking about one technique. He is still not very fast or physically superior to Goku who is all rounded.

I mean the only human that could (and likely was) be stronger than netero is Maha Zoldyck as netero was praised for simply surviving a fight against the Zoldyck patriarch meaning that in the end he didn't beat him.

Zoldycks don’t fight/kill for pleasure so if Maha fought Netero it was to kill which means he failed. I don’t think that makes it likely he was stronger when Netero was undoubtedly the strongest Nen user 50+ years ago when that fight probably took place.

@@zagessj well we don't know when the fight took place exactly the only thing we know is that maha and netero are as old as one another and that they fought and netero is stated to be the only person to actually survive a confrontation with maha, its not said that he won the fight or lost it, only that he managed to live through it which is considered a feat in of itself I personally think that during both of their primes netero was likely slightly weaker than Maha but not in term of Nen ability but more so in terms of skill and fighting capabilities (even though they should be reletive) but no matter how we look at it those two are at the very least on the same level as one another.

If Maha fought Netero he was likely paid to do it and he clearly failed. Unless the fight was interrupted in a way similar to how Chrollo vs the Zoldycks went.

His 100 Types Guanynin Bodhisattva nen ability is Conjuration + Manipulation. All constructs are Conjuration, emission simply means separating raw aura from your body.

We've seen Master Nen User like Morel & Knov who are Manipulator & Emmiter but their nen ability is centred around their opposite category i.e. Transmutation (Smoke) & Conjuration (Room) respectively. Even Knuckle a Conjurer relies on emission in conjunction vice versa for Razor. And if you've noticed both Morel & Razor were at Great level in the nen potential chart that's lowest and Komugi & Abengane at Ultimate level the highest. We know Enhancer don't need any nen ability but Netero was on that path and reached the pinnacle but he always crave for challenge to he went beyond and choose to develop a nen ability using the two most inefficient category for him. Many people ignore this but Netero during his training on that mountain didn't Sleep or Eat anything just Punching & Praying 24*7*365 in one place that was the level of his Enhancement prior to his nen ability.

In terms of raw strength, so far no other character would’ve stand a chance against Meruem. Because of that, even past his prime, I believe Netero was the strongest human in the series. P.S. they say Maha equaled peak Netero, but considering the timeline, he would also be way past his prime was during the Chimera Ant Arc.

Both of em attack pitou, but with a single kick adult gon can give serious damage to pitou which netero can't get it from a single blow of bodyshatva's attack So adult gon definitely far more powerful than netero bodyshatva in his old age

I said gon kicked pitou vs bodyshatva hit pitou. Both of them were pushing pitou far away. Adult Gon didn't even use special kick or nen use to do it, when Netero absolutely used bodyshatva attack (special attack) . It was clear that Adult gon's kick damage pitou more than Netero body shatva, because pitou couldn't even do anything with gon's kick while she could use Dr. Blythe when pushed away by Netero bodyshatva
