However, with context we realize that ace has been in the new world for the past two years where most fighters have at least basic armourment to hit logias with. This just lends credence to ace having good observation haki and/or even future sight.

I personally have ace>kat his 🔥 could melt his mochi and in his novel it’s said he already has future sight and train arm haki with wb crew he also overpowered wb using his df in his sword in a clash while kat got overwhelmed by g4 bounceman arm haki i think ace overpowering wb is a better haki feat that getting thrown around by bounceman he’s is easily yc1 lvl before he died

Jinbei doesn’t show anything that would sugget he would have grown stronger. By the time of the Ace fight Jinbei had been a Warlord for at least 7 years. I think Jinbei is only growing post Wano due to being with the Straw Hats that always get stronger as they travel and do battle.

Whitebeard gave Oden's position to Ace and Oden was able to down Kaido. The positions in Whitebeards crew are based on role, not exactly strength. Marco was first, but he was a doctor and always needed to be near pops. There is one very crucial detail about Ace when he was at his execution. Ace was kept at level 6 and we saw how those at level 1 to 5 were being treated. He was not fully rested or had a proper meal for a long while before he was sent for the executution. Akainu was peak form and Ace still speedblitzed and BLOCKED him.

You mention good details but if you notice before Ace sacrificed himself, you see Luffy pick up Ace’s vivre card which was still a full sheet of paper meaning by that point Ace’s returned to regular condition.
