Grab the left rear striker from door jamb. Three phillips screws. It will have less tooth wear than the front door. Swap out yours.

Need an impact driver for those. Not electric, but one you actually hammer. Google it.

It is difficult to let them go, but the hours alone outpace the return on value. Good mechanics that are out saving old cars are a fad at the moment, but in the long run most will end up being left to rot.

Looks like someone was going to use this four-door to make a two-door conversion like DD's Speed Shop. They already gathered up the trim and some of the other parts. They just needed the doors.

I would keep that third member out of the rearend if I were you. If that car has a 3 speed overdrive transmission, it will have a 4:11 gears. If it had a big P on the third member, it will be a posi rearend. All those 1955 to 1964 rearend gear boxes bring big money no matter what the ratio is.

Ya in Australia that 57 in that colour combo is still a fortune... cutting it up etc. really hurt.

Just wanted to say love your videos on your channel and Cars and Cameras. Can you tell me who the band and what song they are playing starting at the 14:10 mark. The music reminds me of my younger years in the late 60s and early 70s. Just an old hot rodder classic car lover

I still don't understand why you leave all these cars/parts out to rot..? I know it takes space.. and also inventory... i don't know if you have a system.. but imagine if every part and car you own were cataloged digitally. Damn it would be nice... but sorry.. nice for me.. you probably love it the way it is.. Again... i would love to spend my vacation helping you out if you have bigger projects.. :-)

Sir i understand that you don’t have allot of time to make longer videos because all the things that’s going on. But still I enjoying your video’s allot on my Friday after a 12 hour work day relaxing with my beer and a pizza. I really thought that your 57 Chevy was this years power-tour vehicle. I guess i was wrong! 😂 well I’m curious what your choice will be. I hope that it will be just as cool like the Chevy Biscayne was ! . That one was something!

It's funny to think that GM tried to bring that general 50s style to the UK with the Vauxhall PA Cresta and Velox models, with all the chrome, fins and longness, turned out it wasn't that popular here, we're too reserved, and the Mini was more fun... :P
