The act with the most votes get 12 points, the second most 10…..8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 (don’t ask me why we don’t give 9 or 11). Therefore only the 20 most voted for artists get points. The other votes don’t count. So, if you would end up on place 11 in every country you would have 0 points, even though lots of people would have voted for you.

Being German, it was actually exciting seeing the points rising. Sure, it wasn’t 12 points or anything, but considering how many we got the last few years (0-15) this was definitely the most excited I have been since 2018. thank you all. @derschattenpoet I don't know how many comments you've seen but there were a bunch of people saying that his voice is not good enough for the esc or even bad. Also, many songs this year were pretty much radio songs. I think Switzerland had one of the worst songs + vocals this year and they won. It's a song you easily forget in my opinion. Isaac's strong voice definitely made his song even better. And Norway their placement definitely was, unexpected and undeserved.

Yeah I mean we could have hoped for a bit of jury support but I guess nobody thought top 10 with the juries would be reachable.
