Y’all Beyoncé wasn’t being shady oml, it’s true that Michelle has a sweet and raspy voice that is very different to Kelly’s and Beyoncé’s. Like Beyoncé said, Michelle didn’t want to talk about herself because Michelle honestly is very low key and may see it like she’s bragging about herself. I saw this as Beyoncé trying to lift both of her friends up rather than tearing them down.

The interviewer doesn't sound familiar to english, so she tried to say things that would sound normal in portuguese but ended up being a bit uncomfortable to the girls like the sexiness and the voice thing. She did her best but at this part this really gave me some shame for them...

tokyo yeyeye - In an interview, better than a perfect english, is the ability to make the interviewee feel like they are having a talk. And it happened. The girls were comfortable enough to agree in saying some words in portuguese and even asked for my name at the end to compliment me later. So, even if some questions are not as soft as others, the main goal was achieved.

Só achei que em alguns momentos parecia que você não conseguia transmitir uma mensagem do português que seria comum de se ouvir, tal como a pergunta sobre a voz doce da Michelle e o que ela traz ao grupo e sobre a música sexy que no inglês pareceu ser um pouco como uma crítica para elas. Talvez eu esteja enganado sobre meu ponto de vista e elas tenham se sentido assim pelas impressa dos Estados Unidos pressionar elas em cima dessas perguntas. A Michelle recebeu muitas críticas na época sobre a sua voz por ela não ser uma cantora de pop, afinal, ela estava acostumada com o gospel, além também das críticas sobre elas serem vulgares (Que chegou a ser retrucada no Survivor com a música Nasty Girl).
