I love what you are doing and what you are able to accomplish rob but check your alignment on the 4 rotor rx7 at lock ot looks like you have 10-15 degrees of toe in at lock causing that understeer we seen when you were doing the donuts

The car is sounding phenomenal. Rob, for the Idle Surge, it's under Engine Functions > Idle Control > Stall Offset, which normally sits around 400-500 RPM for a DBW Car. As well as the Duty Cycle for Closed Loop Base is probably just a few points too low. Once that's brought up, it'll be rock solid again. Great work on the tuning so far.

@@RobDahm I think you'll find it a lot more open ended and enjoyable than what you've tried previously. Especially on your Nexus, you can do a bunch of 4D controls with anything as your user defined axis and not locked to some pre-defined operation. Gives you more of an OEM-like approach for your tuning. Reach out if you need anything, but clearly you're doing it right. Great work.

That's some high-tech active aero you got there. When you need that downforce at low speed it goes up to grab that clean air and goes down at high speed to air brake less for more top speed!

These past couple of videos were some insane milestones for the 4 rotor. I've been a long-time supporter and this is amazing, to see how far this project has come is an absolute worth it moment. Ever since the beginning of 2015 to this point in 2022 is in my opinion worth the wait. Seeing the improvements being made on the 4 Rotor is amazing and I loved to hear the car rip like in this video. I also love the longer videos because they are so informational and the learning process you guys went through during this whole build is truly amazing. Can't wait to see more content on the 4 rotor and the other cars! Great work Rob and Isaiah! Keep up the great content!

Rob’s videos are so great because we get to see the constant state of confusion and then explanation and then more confusion. It’s exactly like if we were doing it ourselves, you get a problem and have to fix it and now seeing the result of all these revisions and solved problems is so satisfying. We saw the whole process and can appreciate the accomplishments so much more than if we just saw the result and skipped the development. Love it, can’t wait to see it buttoned up

@@Vincent_Morrow i would keep it either way, they don't really have a proper rear wing and with this much power downforce is still important, especially because the front splitter is still there. You don't want the rear end coming around because of lift.

Been following this series since the chassis build, but I really started to get invested after the Sema reveal. I first thought this was gonna be a quick few months build like most KZbinrs, but you take this project just like I do, everything has to be perfect to the wire. Thank you Rob for everything it’s been a great journey and it’s so emotional even for me to see the AWD 4 rotor finally rip hard. Btw that suspension is sexy as hell, thank you Hoonicorn for the inspiration haha.

I like the active aero. The boot lid comes up at low speed to maximize down force for slow cornering. Then it goes down at higher speed to minimise drag. Or it wasn't shut properly. Sounded amazing.

Rob, you’re an inspiration man. I come from the IT world and part time do high end home cinema calibrations and installs. I’ve always loved cars but don’t have anywhere near the knowledge of most of my friends, since I was a kid and first introduced to Subaru’s I’ve always wanted to swap an EJ25t into an 01 2.5RS for an RSTi which has been done many times. Last year I finally started on it after finding a great example of the very slow 2.5RS. There have been ups and downs and I know there’s much better cars out there but this is MY dream car and MY build. I got to see this car at Sema when you guys pulled 48 hours of no sleep to get it there. I remember questioning how this thing could get any better. The craftsmanship and engineering was incredible.
