Another noteworthy film song in this ragam is "Aanathi neeyara" from the Telugu movie Swathikiranam. It features swaram phrases followed by sahithyam phrases in the charanams, in the style of Thyagaraja pancharthna krithis. This was beautifully composed by Sri KV Mahadevan with the exceptional lyrical poetry of Sri Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry. Would you say that this song is purely in this ragam?
