I'm using Ceratec on my 2021 Honda City 5th Gen ZX CVT which has done 26k kms till date. It has made a huge difference in toning down the engine vibration which is now almost non existent, reduced tappet valve noise and even improved the mileage by 1.5 - 2 kms/ltr. in Mumbai traffic. I can vouch that it even makes a difference in new engines and lesser friction should translate into longer engine life!!

@@pramodaswal1589 My car is still under warranty hence it only goes to Honda Workshop for oil changes and they use only Idemitsu brand of engine oil so I've haven't had the chance to try out anything else but my sense is if you are going to add Ceratec it might be an overkill to also use the Molygen engine oil.

@@systrondatarecoverylabhubb4658 If reducing metal to metal friction and its associated benefits works for you then Ceratec should be on your list - at least that's what I've realised after using it. I've been using other engine additives for the past 25 yrs, much before I discovered Ceratec and those were Teflon based additive and it had worked miracles for me. I've even driven a dry engine when accidentally all my engine oil got drained and the warning light failed yet the engine remained unharmed.

I'm using Ceratec since 2015 in my cars (all diesel). It's an excellent product and worth every penny. It's selling really cheap now, otherwise I use to buy it for ₹2400+ approx earlier. Ceratec takes 500 to 1000 kms to set the ceramic coating properly inside engine cylinder walls. It makes the car very smooth, reduce engine noise, protection to engine by reducing friction, but increase in mileage is not much a difference. It's better to use Ceratec as early as possible when the car is new. Ceratec lasts for 50000 kms in single bottle use. It's a highly recommended product for a car enthusiast.

@@manish4583 yes definitely it's recommended from my side. Its my personal experience, it easily lasts until 40-50,000 kms range. In my case I use 100% pure synthetic oil and put ceratec after every 45000 kms. Also oil flush is not required on every oil change, specially when you are using pure synthetic oil. Just change the oil on regular time interval as per car's service manual.

I used Ceratec for twice on same car, I think it is very nice product if you want engine longevity and i observed that after using it, my car is providing more performance in terms of pick up. Though I didn't noticed the change in mileage! But, yah! I definitely recommend Ceratec, it's costly but it's worth it!

Liquimoly ceratec is super product and i advise to add it. New vehicle after running 15k kms pls use Liquimoly engine flush then top up with Amsoil signature series engine oil with ceratec definitely will find the huge difference in acceleration, engine operating system.

Ceratec is for older engines and helps in restoring cylinder surface finish for some time. Not sure why it is being tried with a new engine. Benefits will be zero or very low to be very honest.

I do not work for Liqui Moly but I've seen the benefits on a new engine. I first poured it when my car had run only 15k kms (ie. after my second engine oil change).

@@sankyppp I beg to differ with your opinion as I would much rather minimize wear and tear on a new engine and keep it like new for a longer duration rather than let the normal wear and tear happen in a new engine and then when it's old use an additive. No additive will add metal to worn out cylinder walls, piston rings, bearing etc to make an older engine new again, so why not instead reduce the metal to metal friction in a new engine and make it last longer like new. My experience with Ceratec on a new engine has been much more than what I expected.

@@sudiptakiran When to use Ceratec will depend on its actual function, rather than the perceived function. If it is just a friction reduction additive, then it will make sense for newer engines. If its an additive with ceramic nano particles, then it will restore the surface of parts in older engines by filling ceramic particles in holes and rough surfaces. It cannot work the same in both cases.

I own Hyundai Venue 1.2 petrol MT. when I drive my car and i put in neutral while the vehicle is moving the rpm fluctuates from 750 to nearly 2200 and sometimes more but never gets below 750 keeps fluctuating in moving neutral car but in idle it's quite stable. you don't need this CERATEC product, if you regularly maintain your car engine with a good quality synthetic oil, because this product shows its effect really fast but it's effect gone also very fast, only 5000km and after that you feel nothing special in your car's engine, may be you feel it's effect till your car's next service date but after oil change it's effect completely gone. liqui moly says that it's last for 50000km which is totally marketing gimmicks. so if you can buy ceratec on every service of your car then you can go with it and you will feel it's effect but if you think that its one time investment then may be you will be wrong or will be feel regret.

These additives are NOT required for Petrol engines (especially Suzuki ones) Suzuki K15B/K15C engines require 0W16 Engine Oil. Just stick to that and change oil every 10K kms to keep the engine healthy. Diesel Engines are different, produce more carbon as Diesel is unrefined and require decarbonisation. Suzuki/Fiat engines require 5W30 engine oil and some prefer additives for Diesel Engines.
