This build took about 6 months beginning in the fall of 2015 into spring of 2016. I don't know the total hours spent. I will be building another TLB this year, and will try to document more of the details. The GPM is 8 and I am satisfied with the flow.

Very nice job! Your video is so great that you made it look like an easy weekend project... There must have been a lot of work in it. From what I see, it was done with rather basic tools. I don't see any milling, plasma cutting, etc. Everything is built from raw material. What was the most difficult part? Is there anything you would make different? Is there any other tool you wished you had? Congratulations!
@Isavetractors
@Isavetractors 7 жыл бұрын
Thanks! It was fun. It took about 6 months to complete. I did use very very basic tools for this project. That little drill press was free from my neighbor. The most difficult part was actually just measuring and lining parts up perfect so the motions would be smooth. I would have made the ground clearance of the backhoe higher. It is only about 5 inches which makes going up a trailer difficult. Thanks for watching!

Norman how critical is the position of the loader columns in relation to the position of the tractor? How forward of the steering wheel can the loader be?
@Isavetractors
@Isavetractors 6 жыл бұрын
Not too critical. But as a rule of thumb, it should be just forward the steering wheel area. Too far forward, and your loader bucket will be too far in front, and too far back you won't be able to get on the machine.
