I like this idea up to the point where you 1. Mount it up on the wall instead of on the floor and 2. Continue to use the hazardous aluminum corregated hose. Switch it out to a solid metal run and eliminate need for lint to fly upwards by putting the unit on the floor again.
@Iscaper4 ай бұрын
Good points but the instructions were for the unit to be wall mounted.

I might have to get this. My dryer will be in the basement but right next to my back door that also has a security door. I could just leave the security door open when the dryer is running so the moisture goes outside! Thank you!!

I have an outside dryer vent up high on the wall. I plan to install one of these over it. In the summer I'll remove it and vent to the outside.

It’s terrible. We had something similar and it allowed so much moisture in our garage to get trapped and it was making everything wet

Nivea video. I'm curious how you clean the dryer vent filter or is it tossed and replaced?

I throw the plugged filter away. Here's a link for replacement filters: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07DD2DMXB/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1

@@judevivier153 No, just when the flap raises on the top of the vent. In my case it was probably around 4 months before I changed the filter.

It can only be used for electric dryers, gas dryers produce carbon monoxide, which can kill you
