ISD1820 Voice Record/Playback Module Sound Test With Different Speakers + Connection With Amplifier

Hi, I was trying to connect my ISD1820 voice recorder to a PAM8406 stereo amplifier and could not get them to work together. I literally spent hours researching this problem. Then I came across your video and found out that I am only supposed to use 1 wire (not both) coming from the voice module's speaker output as input to the left or right amplifiers input. I tried it and it works great. I have plenty of volume now. You are such a lifesaver! Thank you so much for your great video that led me to the solution for my problem. i spent many hours searching for modules like this to connect to amplifier non of them works until your video now i know why my module burns because i connected the 2 wires of speaker of recorder to amplifier input,its sad that i have watch this video late after i burn the 2 modules ,,,your video was so great now i know thank u so much i subscribed because you are genius and generous sharing your knowledge

Yes there is a module APR33a3, which is capable of storing and playing 8 different tracks and total 6 minutes of audio.

you can power it from same arduino, just don't connect the common point of input in PAM, and add one of the output wires of 1820

What is the duration can it record at a stretch. If found suitable then okay shall buy with satisfactory answer, otherwise any cheap mobile with multimedia costing around 600-700 inr will do great job with total features, rather than go for this modules. 👍

it works in 3-5v Dc. Have you connected to proper pin? I have 7 of this modules, and all work fine.

@@RGInnovations yes I measure the vdc and use vcc and ground. The record led stays lit for 10 seconds as it should, but no recording. I’ve tried different 8 ohm speakers and reversed the leads, but no sound. I know these are good units, but so simple it’s hard to get it wrong. Hate to send it back
