Is that blue sticker in the upper left corner a screen protector on the 608ac? I recently got mine and the sticker just came off with no screen protector so I was just wondering if this was normal or if the sticker is just to help get it out of the box when you first buy it. Thanks!

It is to pull the outer layer of protective shipping film off the charger. Not really a screen protector.

Hi Please help me. I have bought isdt 608ac Then I bought a battery The battery has a balance charge port and a JST conector for discharge but the charger has a XT60 port for connecting. What should I do? Is is necessary to connect in both balance charge port and XT60 port of the charger for charging?

Unfortunately yes you will need both connected. Easiest thing you can do Is get a jst and a xt60 connector and make an adapter.

Noob here and super confused. I don't have any external DC power supply. Can I parallel charge two 6S 1100mAh lipos at 1C on a balance board? (Using 50W AC)

To figure this out we need to convert everything to watts. So watts is volts x amps. 6s is 2.4vx6 cells= 25.2v. 25.2v X amps. 25.2v X 1.1a = 27.72watts. Now you want to parallel 2 packs at 1c so 27.72watts X 2 = 55.44watts. So long story short yes you cna parallel 2 packs but no you can't do them at 1c. Fortunately the charger is smart so you can just set it to 2.2a and let it go and it will self regulate since the charger knows that the power supply is capable of only 50watts through the isdt battgo connector.

This is a good charger but there are many like it. This one will do 6s batteries. Isdt and hobby mate make great chargers.

@ukmonk they are all "smart" charges. Meaning they monitor cell voltages and usually have pre programmed charging routines but.... if you do dumb things the batteries will still catch on fire.

Amazing review! Would 608AC be enough for charging GNB 1350mAh 6S 100C LiPo XT60 battery? Or should I go with ISDT D1 which is also AC/DC charger. Just a little tiny bit more expensive than 608AC.

Yea it's enough. You'll only be at about 32 watts. The built in psu can do up to 50w

So, not sure if you ever looked into ISDT D1 AC/DC charger. It's only around $10 more expensive, but with the discount code I could use, I could get it for even few dollars less than 608AC. Do you think D1 would be a good option then? I understand it's different form factor and not detachable battery, but I am not really worried about that so much. What I'm worried is, would D1 give me little faster charge times, or what would be the benefits of going with D1 over 608AC, if there are any?

Yes if you can get the d1 for only a little more I'd go with that one. The d1 wasn't around when the 608ac came out.

@@TweetFPV - thank you so much! D1 is basically (as far as I understood) a successor of D2. D2 can charge two batteries at once, but it is significantly more expensive than D1. For almost the same price, I can get Hota D6 Pro, which I believe might be a better option than D2 in that case... maybe not, but a lot of people praise Hota D6 Pro charger. I am just trying to avoid bulkiness if possible, since I'd travel a lot with all my equipment.

PLEASE HELP! I just received the ISDT 608AC charger in the mail and attempting to charge my 1500mah 4s batteries. When I plug in the balance lead, I'm getting voltage reading on 6 cells, with the 3rd and 4th being much lower. (3.5v, 4.6v, 1.3v, 1.3v, 5.2v, 5.4v). After plugging in the main lead, only the first two cells give voltage reading (now 4.9V and 5.5V). For reference, I checked this battery on a capacity checker and it's reading just about 3.8 V per cell, says 58% charged. I am hesitant to try and start the charging process, given the charger is identifying the 4s as 6s with only the balance lead in, and then only 2s with the balance and main lead. I am so confused and just want to get the batteries charged so I can start flying fpv

DON"T CHARGE YET!!!! are you plugging in your balance lead with the first pin all the way to the left? have you tried different packs?

@@TweetFPV I have figured it out thanks to a reply on a forum! I had tried plugging in all the way to the left, but discovered the issue was that the connector was just upside down. Something so silly I didn't think I could screw up, but the notches on the balance connector looked the same as the bottom notches on the charger, so it got me confused!
