You cant expect a 2.1 amps charger to supply 6 amps.

@Drone Mesh I respect your reviews but it's even in its name. Don't expect that Usb-C charger to make its full rated output unless you supply it from a Usb-C 60w PD Charger. Please get the correct charger and then review this unit again.

I think the Type C port is for Laptop chargers..because they can output more power. That's you were limited to 1,5 amps
@sleeeptube4 жыл бұрын
Small Samsung USB chargers are usually capable of delivering 15watt max. Divide 15 by the voltage of your battery to get the max amps the charger will manage to squeeze out.

@@DroneMesh Then maybe it does not support USB PD (only AFC/QC) whilst the ISDT device wants to use the USB Type C power delivery protocol specifically (one might guess from the name "PD"). Note that USB power supplies with a non-usb-type-C plug do not have the CC wire (simply because the plug does not have that pin) which is needed in the latest revisions of the USB PD protocol.
@nemrawd4 жыл бұрын
@@DroneMesh If you mean the black Samsung one and not something off-screen it says 9V 2.77A, so 25W. For 4S that'd give you 1.49A max, which seems consistent with your results. A 45W one would give you 2.67A.
@3SIfan864 жыл бұрын
The black wall adapter is probably 12v 3.75A output. Putting 12v into the ISDT when charging to 16.8v requires the unit to up the voltage. This in turn reduces the available current to the amp draw you are seeing. If you were to use an 18v 5A wall adapter for example, you would see the full 5A .

Ideally you want a universal PD charger for this. All the QC 2.0 3.0 etc. are very finicky.
@Arek_R. Жыл бұрын
The cable is also something you need to look after. Your cable doesnt seem like appropriate one. There are rating resistors inside C-C cables which tell the charger for example not to exceed 1A. Type-C ecosystem can be glorious like I take only one brick for holidays for laptop headphones smartphone powerbank this li-po charger everything. But you have wrong cable and everything runs on limp mode.
@tukbuk23534 жыл бұрын
USB type C by default is limited to 1.5 amps and 5 volts max. There are various fast charging standards that allow a sink (the isdt charger in this case) to negotiate for more current/voltage from source (the wall charger in this case) when both devices support a common standard. I believe that the fast charging standard used by those wall chargers is a Samsung proprietary standard called “adaptive charging”. USB Power Delivery (PD) and Qualcomm quick charge are more widely used standards that are probably what the isdt chargers are designed to work with (check the manuals).

Most likely need a larger charger that can output more amps to the batt charger. With that being said the price of a good beefy wall charger plus the batter charger, your already in the price range of better chargers

I use the buttons on the Q6 just fine I mean yes it takes a few times to get used to but I don't know what all the fuss is about I mean is everyone using it have all thumbs lol. When you depeess for select (the center of the button) you are actually hitting both top and bottom at same time so maybe if you think about it like that it will be easier. As for the Nano needing cables and multiple other connectors I would say in order for Nano to stay so cheap they leave it up to the buyer to provide power and adapters. Most enthusiast already have power or a battery and there are so many different plug type and adapters that again rc enthusiast probably have it can make easy so they don't include them.

just don't expect your 30W phone charger to output more that... yeah 30W ... You need a beefy 65W PD adapter or better a 100W one! look up the great chargers from Baesus! I use one of their 100W USB PD chargers with the ISDT PD60 and it works like a charm!

Which power power supplier adapter would you recommend for the Q6 Nano?
@treesifpv38484 жыл бұрын
I found the scroll/select buttons on the Q6 Nano to be almost unusable. It would randomly select when you want to scroll, and scroll when you want to select. Opened it and replaced with a toggle switch for up/down and push button for select. For anyone wanting to open the charger, there are two screws behind front plate 7mm from top left and right corners - you will have to drill holes to access them. Then pry case apart. Apart from that, charger works well - accurately calibrated and fan is not noisy.

@M0rdH0rst4 жыл бұрын
The power supplies I have seen, which support the highest voltage and current of USB-C don't have a USB socket. They are hard-wired to the USB-C plug. I also don't get that thing. Could you use your I-Phone to charge the 4s Lipos of your quads? 🤣
@dylanwhite65394 жыл бұрын
The reason you didn’t get high power out of the pd60 is that you didn’t use a 60w power supply. No phone does this. Also, Samsung does NOT support the PD protocol.

Haha, no it never should take 3 hours. It can be fast you just need a good laptop charger or something like that. Maybe even a Nintendo Switch charger. But those phone chargers are not the best for that charger.
