I would definitely use knifeless tape instead of trim tape and a blade. Means the cut will be very straight and much easier and safer than using a blade

isn't it possible to do it all in one piece? or will the vinyl be overstretched?
@maryannblankley20778 жыл бұрын
watch the video he explains that about 4 times.
@flipporabasta8 жыл бұрын
yes i know. but for that particular car it dont look necessary. i have seen far worse/complicated bumpers that im sure would need inlays, but they have been done in one piece.

Great job guys ! i have a question ! How does the first layer of inlay vinyl not show through the second part of vinyl when you did the wide body panel vinyl ?
@CHB_98 Жыл бұрын
it shows all the time don’t let these guys fool you

Why not just use cutting tape?

I see a lot of seamless wraps with deep recesses like this. Why would you do it this way?
@iSee2eu10 жыл бұрын
Hello David. Thank you for your question. Every surface and/or car is different, so it is the sole choice of the applicator to decide to use inlays or not.
@CHB_98 Жыл бұрын
because they don’t want to stretch the vinyl. and it’s easier they don’t have the skill to mold it to the indents amateurs

i'm confused knifeless tape is supposed to be knifeless. why did he use a knife anyway instead of the wire in the tape.
@AdrianMartinez-uv8hh4 жыл бұрын
there was not wire in the tape, it was basically just regular masking tape but thinner (at least im about 99% sure lmao)

Is this tape a regular trim tape or special for vinyl wrap???
@iSee2eu10 жыл бұрын
Hello Raph, Thanks for your feedback, here we use a regular trim tape. If you have any other question, please feel free to ask us.

"cutting on the vinyl" seems so risky what if your doing like a 100k car and it goes through both lol. Seems nuts!
@topwrapz10 жыл бұрын
if you are not comfortable cutting on the vinyl, you can use cutting tape, 100% safe.
@rebekahcodlinart9 жыл бұрын
+Elliot Baker use knifeless tape, when you pull the tape off it cuts the vinyl, no blades needed.
