there are ovas of the history before kenshi went to geminar and explain some about his past and why he know to fight it name is tenchi muyo ryo-ohki but theres more histories so i keep searching until now there are 4 episodes the next come out at february

I'd say Tenchi his older half brother is the ultra mega chad. He is next in line to be king and all the women in his life all have influential families and backing. Tho Kenshi was a little mega chad before he was transported to that world.

Most of the Tenchi series are alternate universes, this is going to be long so strap in. Tenchi Universe then the 3 movies after Tenchi in love, Manatsu ni eve, and Tenchi forever. Pretty Sammy is its own universe with Sasami as MC Tenchi in Tokyo is another universe Tenchi Ai I'm not sure its part of Universe, the OVA's, or its own? Now where Geminar sits... Tenchi Muyo OVA seasons 1, the special (about Kiyone inbetween its episode 7) 2, 3, 4. Thenchi GPX where the MC is Seina.This is set between OV4 and 5. Tenchi Muyo OVA 5 ( This is where you get a little back story about Geminar and Kenshi's childhood. Isekai no Seikishi Monogatari (Tenchi Muyo war on Geminar) Then you also have Dual parallel trouble which is another universe part of Tench Muyo but without the Tenchi cast.
