In case anybody is curious about why the isekai truck trope is so prelavant in the Japanese cultural psyche: Between 1950 and 1970 the dominant predator of the Japanese person was the truck. This happened due to the rapid industrialization and modernization that sweeped over the country in the previous decades literally faster than pedestrian traffic safety could. It wasn't until around 1996 did the annual number of people having accidents finally drop under a million and fatalities under 10,000 or so.

This is prevalent not only in anime but in Tokusatsu as well. There was even a stoplight monster in an episode or 2 of Spectreman.

Yeah there's lots and lots of people getting isekaid by death, and often by means of a truck, but you know what I'm watching Magic Knight Rayearth and these three girls are isekaid just out of Tokyo Tower by magic, no death involved, and they even have to save the world of Cefiro so that they could return home, which is a big part of the reason they become super commited to it. Or Escaflowne, no death there either. Or Genmu Senki Leda. Is Granzort an isekai, because this boy goes on a field trip to the Moon (it's the future) and discovers the mystical lands of said Moon completely unknown to science, where he has many mecha adventures, without first dieing. Good to know the trope goes that far back tho!
