These are issues we need to be able to discuss with young and old because of what is taught in our school and churches. It is hard to believe in the supernatural and spititual if you have not observed it. The most supernatural phenomenon I have observed is the WORD. Some may call that FAITH but the WORD to me is reality.

I have listened to many discussions on whether the WORD is TRUTH. Christ is in the beginning, He came to Earth, Helped Moses write the Torah, wrote the 10 Commandments, came to Earth, read the Torah, heard or read it every sabbath in the synagogue or temple, He does not LIE, made a seventh day that was blessed and holy. He said if you love Me keep my commandments but most American Christians do not keep His Sabbath Holy. Said we are to remember the seventh and His death, burial and resurrection with bread and wine. DO WE REALLY BELIEVE HIM IF WE DO NOT OBEY HIM? Enjoyed your defending the WORD.

Interpreting Genesis properly depends how it is interpreted. "In THE beginning" or "in A beginning." The version being interpreted is important.

2 Peter 5-7. For they deliberately overlook this fact, that the heavens existed long ago and the earth was formed out of water by the word of God, and that by means of these the world that then existed was deluged with water and perished. But by the same word the heavens and earth that now exist are stored up for fire, being kept until the day of judgement and destruction of the ungodly. Peter is talking about the scoffers at the end times. They will scoff at 3 things, the creation account, the flood, and the coming judgement.

@Darth Quantum Thank you for your response. I appreciate your honesty and openness. I understand what you're saying. But how can someone believe the word of God if no one proclaims the word of God and they never hear it? The word of God IS the evidence. It's a first hand account bearing witness to and testifying to the truth! The gospel of Jesus is a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to the gentiles. Here's another one that will really wind your clock. This apostle Paul teaches in the Bible that non believers don't disbelieve because of a lack of evidence or understanding. The disbelief isn't really intellectual as they claim but stems from immorality. i.e. people don't want to accept it because they don't want to turn from their sin. They love their sin more than they love the truth and will not give sinning up in order to receive the truth. So in order to avoid perceiving and dealing with the evil that comes out of the human heart it's easier to just deny the truth. People like to think of ourselves as good but we're not. Like King David said in the Psalms "the Lord has put an Oracle in my heart regarding the sinfulness of the wicked. There is no fear of God in him. For in his own eyes he flatters himself to much so he is unable to detect his sins in order to hate them" I love you. God bless you and your family!

@Darth Quantum If you would like some simple evidence, check out the full 'Is Genesis History?' movie. It provides a good summation of history, geology, genetics, population dynamics etc. All of these fields of study are pointing toward the short timescale depicted in the bible. This is particularly true of human genetic studies, which clearly indicate convergence of lineages just several thousands of years ago. Some key pieces of evidence that I would first acknowledge include; -Radiometric dating on rocks is wildly inaccurate and can only be used on igneous rocks for which no dating method has ever been validated. -Measuring distance to astral bodies is done using relative parallax angles and is accurate up to ~300 light years distance. Beyond this, distance is estimated by measuring the amplitude of flickering light relative to the visible size of a star (or galaxy), which is guess work at best, as stars have been mistaken for galaxies many times in recent years. The two evidences above show that the age of the earth and universe are by no means confirmed to be billions of years old. -Entropy and the unmoved mover is a great argument if you haven't heard of it. The idea of a finite universe accelerating outward while constantly losing energy to the void of space. This implies a singular beginning that requires a cause which is outside of it. -Another evidence is reasonable probability. The probability of unguided processes leading to a planet that reaches a stable orbit at the perfect distance from the sun for life, contains water in 3 phases, has established life forms that can comprehend existence and observe a perfect solar eclipse is so immensely massive it surpasses what is in the realm of possibility (>10^70) by magnitudes.

I enjoy watching and listening to your videos. Many Scientist and Scholars explaining what's written in the Bible but it seems they always skip Gen. 1-31. And focus on Gen 2.Chapter 7. Gen.1:1-5th was the First day. Gen.1:6-8th.was the Second day. Gen.1:9-13th.was the 3rd day. Gen.1:14-19th.was the 4th day. Gen.1:20-23rd.was the 5th day. Gen.1:24-31st.was the 6th day. In Gen.1:26-27th. In 'chapter 27th' is important, as it written; GOD CREATED MAN IN HIS OWN IMAGE, IN THE IMAGE OF GOD CREATED HE, HIM; MALE AND FEMALE CREATED HE THEM.(CREATED). Where as in Gen. 2:7. Written; AND THE LORD GOD FORMED MAN OF DUST OF THE GROUND,AND BREATHED INTO HIS NOSTRILS THE BREATH OF LIFE;AND MAN BECAME A LIVING SOUL. Gen.2: 8th-15th.(to take care of the garden called Eden). Gen.1:26-31.(CREATED. to rule over...) not (FORMED. to take care of garden). Who are those (male and female) that God,Created...Not Formed like in Gen.2:7th.written.....

I've said for years you don't have to be a young earth creationist to be a Christian. You can believe evolution and be a Christian. The issue is the bible clearly teaches a young earth. Not to mention even Jesus spoke about a young earth. So if you don't believe those parts of the bible how can you trust any of it?

I fully believe that God could have created the Universe and everything in it with a snap of his spiritual fingers! Fortunately, He was kind enough to give a reasonably detailed explanation of exactly how he did it and why! Seven days to give us a period of time to do our work and then get a break from our work! Genesis 1-11 is history and cannot be read any other way. Man has chosen to interpret Genesis in a way that makes it seem ridiculous! God was very specific as to how he created everything and to claim He 'could have used evolution and millions, (or billions) of years is tantamount to calling God a liar! Believe what you want to believe, but caution is needed to save your soul.

I think a person can become a Christian, be born again without having thought about the Biblical account of Creation. But sooner or later they will have to face it. The main issue for me is of course the seven day Creation period. As I understand it the Hebrew word for day 'yom' is usually referring to a 24 hour day, but not always. I don't want to get into the places where it sometimes used to indicate longer periods of time because there's plenty of material you can consult on the web. For myself by faith I believe He did it in seven days. Whether those days were 24 hour days or longer, doesn't matter. God did it and God doesn't lie. If you try to reconcile Creation with the theory of evolution you run into trouble with the creation of Adam. He was a special creation made in the image of God. Our Lord held to the Creation story and so should we. The fact that He also turned water into excellent wine, raised people from the dead, and made all kinds of wonderful things happen should be enough to convince us that God is able to do whatever He wants to in pursuit of His own purposes for this world. I think we need to focus on the greatness of God rather than the speculations of men. There can be no ultimate conflict between true science and God's word. Unregenerate men do not want to believe there is a God, so everything they do is in defiance of God's law and the supremacy of Man.

*CORRECTION* It does not take a PHD or a Dr to believe there is a creator and the Bible is GOD's word. Everyone will stand before JESUS either in celebration as in repenting of sin and accepting salvation based on faith. Or they will be judged by the 10 commandments, again no PHD required. It is called FREE WILL - one makes a 'conscience' choice (everyone loves that word) to reject the TRUTH of JESUS and got the way of Cain. ✔

How can you say that everyone "WILL stand before Jesus" when nobody has stood before Jesus yet and come back to report that it is true. That's like saying "everyone will get abducted by aliens", which is technically a possibility, but until it happens, it probably won't happen. You can't say it "will' happen, until it does actually happen. Because until then it is just a theory and a possibility. Just like your beliefs about Jesus. Just because someone has written their beliefs in a book and passed it on to you, it doesn't make it fact. The same goes for the Islamic, Judaism and Hindu faiths. I'm not saying Jesus isn't real and what you believe isn't correct, but at the same time it isn't the truth or a certainty either. That's why it is called a belief. Alarm bells always start ringing when people put all their eggs in one basket, believe everything right down to a tee, without question, and insist that their 'belief' is factual. By definition that is a cult. That's why I neither believe, or disbelieve. You have to be open minded, separate fact from fiction, and distinguish between fact and belief.

The story of Moses was likely plagiarized from myths learned when the Israelis were exiled to Babylon after the Battle of Carchemish in 605 BCE. The Israeli government has spent millions on archeological searches of the Sinai for the "deed" to the holy land, but without success. Stands to reason when one considers the meticulous records kept by the Egyptians make no mention of Israeli slaves nor the departure of the 2.5 million "slaves" which would have been a significant portion of the combined total Egyptian population at that time. It nearly goes without saying that if the Moses story was myth, the entire concept of the Christian religion is based on a fantasy. But then, reason and logic told us all that centuries ago.

@tsimahei "Did Jesus lie"? You might as well be asking whether Zeus lied? Or Allah? Of course you'll say that those two divine figures never existed, because it doesn't fit your religious narrative. Which is ironic, because there is as much evidence to suggest Jesus existed as those two. There is no factual evidence to suggest that Jesus actually existed, or that he was at least some kind of divine lord, or saviour, who could perform miracles. Just some information that was written in a book, which people have taken literally and made into a religion, even though the events are ridiculously far fetched. You say the bible has never been disproved, but it has never been proved either. So much stuff in the bible is far fetched, unrealistic and merely parables or stories. Just like the Muslims though, and Jews, and Sikhs... you Christian's take everything literally and accept everything at face value, without question. Doesn't make it fact though. It doesn't make it false either, but still none of it can be proved. That's why it is merely a belief. Because there is no factual evidence to back it up. I mean the first section of the bible would have us believe that a speaking snake, controlled by the devil, spoke to Eve and convinced her to eat from a forbidden tree in the garden of Eden that forever tarnished mankind and resulted in imperfection and people dying today. So tens of billions of innocent people throughout history have been punished, or cursed, by God because one woman ate a piece of fruit. Wouldn't that make God a monster and the one responsible? If I put a poisonous tree in my garden and gave my young kid free will to eat from it, that would make me responsible. Not the kid. For that matter alone, I simply wouldn't put a poisonous tree in my garden. It's asking for trouble. Yet God did? Seems likely. If God existed, surely he would have better hindsight than to screw up his own plan right from the beginning? Let alone curse everybody else because of one person. That would make the God in the bible a monster and cruel. Which is why I think the bible is nonsense. It's not real. But again, it can't be proved or disproved. That's why it is a belief and not fact. Peace.

Hey Del. Love your work. Did you notice about 18 minutes 30 seconds into your talk the good doctor pulled a fast one on you? He said that all are dying in the first Adam but only believer's live in the second Adam. So basically the first Adam had the power to bring everyone into death and condemnation , but the second Adam only has the power to give life to believer's only. Making the first Adam more powerful than the second Adam. I ain't buying that for one second. What about you Del??

Gordon, have you considered that, firstly, the 2nd Adam carried the sins of the whole world so that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. So He has the power to grant eternal life to everyone. Does the first Adam have the power to do that as well? Secondly, simply because His offer is not accepted by everyone does not negate (nor even diminish) His power to grant salvation and eternal life to everyone. This is proven by many scriptures, including John 3:16, 1 John 2:2 "He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world", and others. Thirdly, He has the power to negate the curse caused by the first Adam. That alone demonstrates that His power is greater than that of the 1st Adam. And lastly, He had the power to destroy Adam the moment he sinned. He could have then chosen to start again, or not. Respectfully, I hope you agree that these facts demonstrate your assertion was a bit short-sighted.

Satan helped the cross come about. He entered Judas to facilitate it. He knew Jesus would resurrect as that was prophesied in the OT. What he didn't know was what came about in the revelation given to Paul. Only Paul. The mystery hid in God throughout the ages. The Church. Salvation by faith alone in the finished work of Christ. And it's still a mystery to most christians.

If judges can be referred as gods(ps.82::6; John 10:34,35) why cant His Son be referred as " a god" ( Col.1:15,16; John 1:18)? Jehovah has always been (Ps.93:2) and Christ was 1st born of all creation. Jesus was\is God‘s master worker (Prov.8:22, 23, 30,31), his Father is God Almighty, cant he be a god?

In Luke 16:31 Jesus Himself refers to Moses and the prophets. The problem today is that you have to get rid of the Creation story in order to accommodate the theory of evolution. You also have to get rid of Jesus in order to establish a one world religion.

CHRISTIANDOM does not keep His Holy Sabbath. It has been holy since Seventh day. It is His time; mankind has an appointment with their Creator every seventh. Why we have a seven day week. Will we keep those appointments or we listen to Satan and the anti-Christ. It makes no difference what day is holy just keep one. Did God really say only one day is Holy? etc.
